Thanks for watching and the kind feedback 😁
Is this tent only good for dry weather camping, does the mesh window let rain in even with the inner section up ?
Can you use put chairs and sit in the living area
Hi Joe. We live in the Philippines where the temperature can go up to 30+ degrees celsius. Do you think the circulation/ventilation in the rooms are okay to withstand such warm temp? We initially bought the 4.2 that's not f&b and we couldn't breath when we woke up the next morning and the sun were shining! But we really like the layout of the 4.2 that's why seeing your review makes us think of getting the f&b. Would appreciate your recommendation. Thank you!

Hi Regit. We lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, more or less the temperature is the same like your beautiful country. We bought and used the same tent like the creator too. Our first overnight camping was at the beach near Straits of Malacca, assembling was so easy, setting up our camping gears and flysheet was done within an hour with two manpower's (me and my husband). During our first night, we were hit by a huge rainy storm for around two hours non-stop and that night we nearly lost our flysheet but managed to catch it back. To be honest, 4.2 F&B was the best tent that ever invented, with full air ventilation support, durable ground, spacious and more privacy. Worry not, camping is all about fun and no matter what the temperature's are. If it's too hot, open the cover window at the living space, side ventilation mesh at both bedrooms and top cover also comes with mesh. Overall, the air ventilation is good. Or you may buy a USB fan which are rechargeable. Hoping that my review is suffice enough to make you grab your own 4.2 F&B. Good luck and have fun. Greetings from Malaysia.
Thinking of getting this, quick question: can you fold it back down with the bedrooms still attached? Decathlon video has the bedrooms separate from Rest of the tent

haha good question, the first time we took out the tent and placed it on the ground, we kept looking for the bedrooms. Mine actually was already attached (can dismantle). So there is no need to assemble the bedrooms. Well if you watched Decathlon videos, the bedrooms are separated, but mine fresh from the bags, already attached. The same as closing the tent, we did not dismantle the bedrooms, just packed it all together.
The middle section ground sheet that’s not integrated, is it just the front and back part that is open to the bugs or are all the sides not integrated? I am looking for a tent that is bug free. Wondered if I could just stick some Velcro to seal it as I love this tent 😂

I'm wondering same thing!
how about temp in tent?
What if the lication you are camping in has got too many mices and rats nearby ? You could endup sleeping under the clouds the next morning.
Is it possible to unbutton second bedroom so we can use the second brediom soace for storage?

Yeah thats what I've used it for historically
Is this tent 100% waterproof?
seems the outer fly isn't seam taped, hw is it in heavy rain?

Worry not, tested the tent in stormy rain by the beach and the results was so satisfying. No regrets bought this. Our tent (same as the creator) was intact nicely while other campers started packing their tent to move. Just my advice, camping by the beaches, advisable to use more than 30cm pegs for double safety. Since the pegs included in this tent just a standard peg, you might want to buy extras. Back to your question, NO LEAKING inside the tent during heavy rain, flysheet is recommended if heavy rain with storm as the upper roof of the tent has ventilation from mesh and water may come from this side but not flooded your inner ground. Just wiping with dry cloth should be enough. The seam so far was good. FYI, decathlon tent comes with warranty, if it's torn due to manufacturing default, you may return and get a new set.
