Hello 👋 and thanks for all of your very thoughtful videos, I really enjoy them! Having grown up in Quebec City myself, I would like to mention the fun fact that when you were walking on The Plains Of Abraham, you were walking on the very site of an Epic battle between The French and The British which ended in The French defeat and therefore decided the Faith of North America as we know it…! Cheers 🍻! Marc Gagnon

Iceland would be a great stop, but since it's summer you should check out NUUK GREENLAND. It's a beautiful city and very unexpectedly large for a city in Greenland. Its probably not the easiest place to travel to, but from Reykjavik you could easily catch a flight. Just a thought! I hope you stop in halifax and st johns newfoundland on your way out of Canada. There's also an island off the coast of newfoundland called Saint-Pierre and Miquelon which is still under French rule. Which is a very interesting and strange destination in North America.

Canada Day, which was known as Dominion Day until 1982, represents the Day that the four original provinces of Confederation joined together, on July 1, 1867, to create the Dominion of Canada, a sovereign realm within the British Empire. You won't see anywhere near the level of enthusiasm for Canada in the province of Quebec that you will in the rest of Canada. The big patriotic day in "La Belle province" in June 24, St. Jean Baptiste Day, or "Fête Nationale en Français".

Canada Day celebrates the union (and the constitution act thereof created) of the 3 separate territories into one land, which literally forms the start of our country known as Canada. Our country's start wasn't fighting for freedom, it was the fight of unification. Only those ignorant would assume that it had anything to do with 'independence'. Being a traveler, especially on a day of national significance of the country you are currently in, you think, you would at least google what the day was and do research. What a shame.

If you knew something about Canada's political system, you would know that the Prime Minister at the federal level doesn't have that much power, at least far from those of the American or European presidents. In Canada, most major decisions are taken by provincial governments.

I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country.

@@lb3843 Your opinion is absolutely correct. However, Canada is greatly exaggerated. In the United States, over 90% of the country's parts are very clean and developed, but in Canada, you can't walk down a road without seeing litter within less than 100 meters. You can't find a street or sidewalk in Canada where the asphalt is of good quality or where the sidewalk isn't broken. You can not see or find homeless people everywhere or every street, city, or neighborhood in the U.S. but you can see homeless people in even the smallest cities or every neighborhood in Canada. Canada's rankings are overrated.

@@lb3843 I think the two main problems in Canada are that most people don't care about cleanliness, and the local and federal governments have the least amount of money for cleaning places compared to governments in other countries.
