Another incredible class I've had at Millennium Dance Complex and let me tell you... It was so good to be back! I am still injured, so unfortunately no dancing for me yet but my assistants Klaudia Antos, Elysandra Quiñones, Jordan Laza and Tsola Akuya were pure fire.
Note about this choreography: I made this for my youth masterclass in Slovenia at my Bolero Dance Center all the way back in December 2019 just for fun, to bring the dance community together, to make them sweat and work on their cardio (always haha) and just to really celebrate dance and great music.
But since then I've kept hearing from my friends and students in Los Angeles that they would love to learn it so... Alrighty then! :)
I taught this class right after the incredible performance at the Super Bowl by Shakira & Jlo, that I'm sure we've all seen. If you think you recognize some of these faces you're right! :) Elysandra and Klaudia danced for Shakira and Jlo (Respectively).

@@maxime0621 she is still teaching and analyzing what they are doing. The video was made to show the students but she is still a teacher after all. She goes behind because they can watch her on the mirror. Try to be more respectful, please!

I love watching how much she enjoys seeing people do her choreography and just rocking it. It’s the kind of love and support dancers feed off and do their best in.
You can actually sense the impact of latin dancing+reggaeton+dancehall in her choreos I'm so happy she's not forcing hip hop steps into songs like this

NotHereNorThere it mean’s Nika incorporated some moves from Latin dancing (like the op said)and not just “pure hip hop” moves. It fit the song a lot better by doing so by including moves from different styles.

Kitty Gata I’m not an expert in Latin dance, but yes there is a lot of hip hop, however there is some moves incorporated from the dance styles the op listed above

The center girl in the first group is an amazing dancer!!! They were all great, but she was by far the best
Jordan Laza!!!!!!! That hair! THOSE MOVES! Just...I can't. And Klaudia Antos, omg, I want whatever pierogies she's eating, that girl is freakin fire!!!
DAMN that first girl was on FIRE🔥 I felt like those braids were gonna whip me through the screen she went so hard! Outstanding👏
This was straight up savage Nika. You had that whole class fighting and killing it. Wish you were in the video dancing this yourself, but it was great seeing you show your students nothing but love and support.

Caterina uwu la verdad yo le encuentro sentido, justamente la referencia es para que no sigan confundiendo al país Colombia 🇨🇴 con Columbia, (la ciudad), ya que, créeme, tienden a confundirlo a que son la mismo.

The two gentlemen in the black and the one in yellow had the best energy! You could feel the grit of the dembow with their movements. My ancestors felt that.
The girl in yellow was like chill but like just on fleek👀👀🔥🔥🔥and the killing the choreography🤯🤯

The girl in the 2nd group with the yellow sweats was the smoothest pug of all them They all did good, but that girl killed it. She moved like she created this dance 🔥🔥

Yeah. She’s great. Glad she took the plunge to move to LA. Seen her kill it at Fair Play Dance Camp the last two years and Brian Friedman’s expo in Greece. Getting seen a lot more by the giants in the industry. I always think of Megan Fox when I see her. Like doppelgängers. One chose acting. One chose dance.

Nika mentions in the title description that they both danced in the last Super Bowl halftime show for JLO and Shakira. Wow that female front in first group so fast,amazing and moves perfect. The 2 dancer at 2:45 was very good. Love this choreography. The female in white and brown I love her outfit and she is good.

This choreo is AMAZING, has so much passion, hype, energy, and it's infectious. It's so well done by a great instructor and execution by the dancers who learned it. But I gotta say, I really hate the way she hovers while they're trying to dance. It makes me anxious for them. lol
