However I enjoyed your review immensely, I can still dream 😌 I also love your storage carts, what a great way to switch between games types quickley. I assume you're young. By the time you get to your 30's, hopefully $30k isn't such a big deal. Even if you're middle class, there are people with motorbikes as a hobby that cost more than this rig and if this is one of your main hobbies, I say go for it. Just remember to aim for the stars, not settle for some low paying job. By the time you get to your 30's and this is still a financial issue, I strongly suggest reorganising your life. :)

@@Glorious_Kim_Jong_Un That was nice of you to take the time to reply. Actually I am 62, I was supposed to retire at 60 but hope to retire soon. I am fairly well off, probably better paid that most and with my work pension and veterans pension I will be very comfortable when I do retire. Thanks for your encouragement regardless. My original comment was a bit flippant, but if I was very much into simulation hardware, I think I would definitely buy the Qubic QS 220 PL & Monstertech MTS platform and I understand why it is so expensive - Quality costs. Have a great day Ma'am *bows* 🙇‍♂

Awesome video! I'm interested in the 210 or 220 for use with helos in DCS. I'm curious though....1. will the 210 be sufficient for this application or is the 220 really needed? 2. As helicopters have a constant low vibration, is that the same on the rig or do you only get vibration on maneuvers/ aircraft stress.......I'd love a rig that has vibration as the rotor starts up and a slight vibration at all times even ground idle for the realism. Thanks again!

I have one question about your choice of screens. I've been watching all your videos relating to sim pits in close detail as I intend to make myself a pit in the near(ish) future. In another video you showed the boxes for the screens, I believe they were Sony A-80's, which had 120hz refresh iirc and I couldnt find a response time, but at best they would be 4ms. A detail I didn't know when I got my monitors together for this (3 x 32") is that nvidia will span them for you in surround, but if all three monitors are not G Sync enabled, you're new surround virtual monitor will be a 60hz monitor. If all three are g sync, it'll cap at the lowest speed of each of the three. This said, I'll move to my question. I've looked at tons of large format monitors trying to decide what the optimal solution is, and in terms of size alone, I agree with your choice of 55" if you have the room. However, no 55" screen I could find had g sync, so were you tempted to use 43" gaming monitors as g sync versions are available in that size? For future proofing if nothing else? Awesome video series btw, I love the information I'm getting from each of these videos you release on simpits! I only recently found out about the g sync vs refresh rate thing when I purchased my third monitor as free sync and it only gave me 60hz. Could you mention this consideration in one of your simpit videos so others don't find themselves in my position?

    Жыл бұрын

@@NOOBIFIER1337 Wow, really?!? Does it go the other direction, ie a 6900 would run my mix of free sync and g sync at base refresh? This is another topic germane to simpits you could add to a video. I, just a day or two ago, purchased a 3090 as it came down in price $500 at a local store, and I bought a third monitor (which wasnt g sync). I guess I didnt think it through. I assumed so long as it was 1ms response time and was at least 144mhz, the quality of a monitor I intend to be an "outside" monitor didnt matter that much. My center monitor being a good one, I matched the brand (LG) and went forward. Live and learn

Looks like Fall, fell. Beginning Winter this month so maybe they just haven't updated their website. I'm only 4 hours from Tampa so I still hold my breathe, because I will never do DHL again. Four out of my last four experiences with them were disasters. As for the extended frames, I don't see those yet but also remain hopeful. I was going to get the D-Box setup soon as they drop their latest gen in a 6" version so am very used to holding my breath, haha. I would buy the base package tonight if Tampa had it, and it was the futured extended frame since I will most certainly be doing motion (though I'll still most likely go with the D-Box 6"). All my wanted toys are only future wishes. If you're reading Monstertech,,, HURRY UP!!! Haha, jk,,, but seriously,,, hurry up. Great video! @@NOOBIFIER1337 Well, as I mentioned on one of your other videos, I work too much, so not much time for the next couple of months at least, plus I intend to build two systems for coop flight and racing with friends, so I still will be looking forward to all I mentioned above for my own motion rig, but to get started to help me plan more to come, I went ahead and ordered their base kit a few minutes ago. I hope you get some sort of kickback. Your code worked and I saved fifty bucks! Thanks! :)

Welp, I love the concept of 4DOF/6DOF motion simulator systems, but the thing I'm most worried about isn't even the asking price to buy it, but rather the, I assume, ginormous energy demand of such a setup, especially when used daily... these days, that'd probably run you thousands of euros per year, if the consumption is anywhere near what I dread it to be...

the first one is cheap motion and looks like shit but that 2nd machine looks fucking awesome and would be a blast. I am sure there are better but that thing starts to get to the world of decent motion. There was a 360 degree cokpit on display I saw that obviously would not be sufficient to simulate a modern or high end prop fighter due to simple safety and mechanical limitations but would simulate more relaxed/civilian planes super well. Some day if government stops waring us and taxing us to death we will reach that point :D
