Mike was 15 years old during his time on Lawrence Welk's little band. He was recommended by a fan to Lawrence Welk to audition in L.A. Many kids trying out. After a few, Mike did his audition and Lawrence Welk said, "send the rest home--we found our piano player". This is Mike in a feature song during one of the shows.
