Kenneth Victor Yessir but I highly doubt I will do a lot more but maybe a couple in the future. I’m not a big quartet fan. I just study it enough to play it & keep moving on to the next genre of music. I try not to dwell too long in one genre. I want my sound to be as versatile as possible

Man this is cool...but what is the theory on the guitar riff....it was 3 chords...but whats the number system?
@dontaviusturner45
7 жыл бұрын
Well number system it would be 1(min) 4,3(min). This video was more so for some guys who learn by ear & watching others. Theoretically speaking, a lot of church music is basically Dominant. The main things I think of it when it comes to what scales is Dominant/Blues/Aeolian or Natural Minor. Now ofcourse certain songs have changes which may lead you to others scales, but your basic drive of quartet makes me lean more to those three things. If I want to get creative I would think about the tritone, whole tone, & diminish scales. Normally it's not recommended so I don't do it. When I practice, I try to make everything work or try new ideas.
