45:10 would have at least considered an end rail to end rail Z shot. In terms of tying up a ball, planting the six up to the end rail to rest against the four also crossed my mind. Leaving the cue ball up behind the nine . . .

No good future trying out the z shot tbh. They were already tied up and nothing else was, so moving the 4 from its stuck position not only opens up the pot but also for the 5 too. Also, there were not much USA could do with safety on the intentional foul too. The Swiss team then took on a much easier kick. These are the percentage plays that they played and shows how they weren't really wrong.
