Tom wears a hat with X-men symbol on it during Quarriors review... Totally inspired Dice Masters!

Well, this video convinced me. I'm definitely buying the katana with electronic sounds now.

Whatever happened to the buzz around this game!?

"Is there going to be a better dice building game at some point? I would not be surprised." The instant Lang watched this review and heard that he's like, "Yup, time to make Dice Masters."

You may not have known this but there are extra creature cards (and i'm guessing dice that go along with them) if you preordered this game. So people who what to expand it just a little or completests may want to hunt on ebay for that.

I just bought the expansion called Armageddon and when researched it says it comes with 40 dice...but what I got was a total of 190 dice, bags and color pieces. What gives? Not sure why.

"infinitely expandable" is a phrase that makes my wallet tremble

quarriors or marvel dice masters? i just played the second one today and loved it i dont know which one should buy

+metalg33ksolid Quarriors is a self-contained game ready for many to enjoy. Dice Masters is a collectable/blind buy booster pack model of sales. I'd personally go for Quarriors as it is actually ready to play out of the box and you don't need anything else to really get the full game experience.

Just played this for the first time today, absolutely loved this game. The learning curve may seem steep at first but after playing for a few minutes you quickly begin to understand the game. I highly recommend it.

Oh dear. I have ordered in the last week the Lord of The Rings LCG, Gosu (thanks Tom!) and that new Vampire deck building game. Now I will more than likely get this when it comes out next month :( Not to mention that Rune Age is on its way too. Hey Tom, will you do a review of Rune Age when it comes out or if you have a preview copy?

I PLAY DICE MASTER AND I WANT TO FIND SOME QUARRIORS TOO (I LOVE DICE) I HAVE A SMALL HAND AND I ALSO HAVE ISSUES TO TAKE THE DICE XD I USUALLY JUST USE MY DRESS AS A BIGGER BAG TO TAKE MY DICE AND THE ACTUAL BAG TO TRANSPORT THEM

Any time I wanna find a fun new game to buy I always look at a dice tower video and pause it while Tom is talking and see what he's got on his wall.

I really want to play this but i dont know where to buy it!

Thanks for the advice. I got this game and my friends and I are rather new at these types of games so we only got through one round for the evening (they had work in the morning. bummer), but we loved it

sweet...i just started being subscribed to you guys for about 2 weeks and ive watched a TON of your reviews...when i saw this i had no clue what it was. Im sooo glad i watched this one. This game looks great and is a sure fire pickup for this guy 8)

That dice pile reminds me of Dragon Dice. Back in print, BTW.

Completely agree. Style over readability is a common problem in games, now.

@Blahdabbadoo wierd iv played it with my friends for almost 30 games and after the first 10 minites they got the cards and usally the take me only 20-30 are u playing to 12 victory or 20?

They look like Heroscape size dice, is that comparable?

@swankidelic I play Dominion religiously, and just got Quarriors. The concept is similar, but the gameplay has a totally different feel.

Crud! From the beginning when hearing about this game, I didn't mind the size of dice or that it wasn't as "dice cool" as Dragon Dice and fully expected there to be expansion where larger dice, different sided dice would be used. But could they? Where you pull the dice, if you have larger size or different sided dice you could cherry pick by feel when you pull them. Boo. There goes my hope for giant, epic dice.

Not everyone has 20:20 vision! i don't think it's too much to ask game designers to make components readable!

friend has this game and we have been playing it every chance we get ever since he bought it! definitely worth it!!! oh and buy the expansion!!!!!!!!!!! this game rocks!

I played both, but for me dominion had the much longer lasting appeal, quarriors has already worn out its welcome fairly quickly.

@cardmaster748 It will last as long as you want it too. It's not a collectible game. You just buy it and play it. Only you can answer if it will be a fad for yourself.

There's one expansion out presently... and a second that has been announced to anyone who's worried about the infinitely expandable comment. The game is solid but a bit random.
