I really enjoyed this video, you look lovely in these clothes! 😊 my issue as I’ve gotten older is I’ve shrunk to about 5’2” and am busty, angling with having gained weight over the past couple of years. Being short-waisted,, cinching in at the waist is just not flattering. I look best in A-line dresses, but they’re not easy to find. Women like you are inspiring me to put more effort into dressing with style, because I’ve just sort of given in to simpler, boring, neutral looks as a way to hide my flaws instead of having fun with clothes like I did when I was young. Hey Dawn, I LOVE your channel, and YOU!! (I think you are my new Best Friend!) I am 64, and have been working in TV and film for the past 11 years as a Supporting Artist / 'Extra'. 18 months ago I went to get my standard yearly head-shots done (using a new photographer), and she liked my look and encouraged me to go into ''over 50s' modelling Although I am over 60, my 'playing age' is 55 - 65. She also gave me two paid jobs working in her studio with her photography club, and from there one of the photographers booked me for another paid job. I was just getting started with applying to modelling agencies when lock-down struck. Now...a London model agency (specialising in older models ) contacted me a few weeks ago and invited me to send her some photos, Not ideal timing , because OF COURSE I have put on about 10 lbs during lock-down,. (Eeeeeeek!) So...your BOHO ideas are going to be great for the photoshoot I have booke for next week. I feel like I am 'cramming for exams' now to get ready for this (LOL). My biggest hurdle is feeling comfortable , confident and 'flowing' in front of the camera. I am sure this will come with experience , but any tips would be welcome. Perhaps you could do a video on 'How to move for the camera'. Anyway...now you have my life story...just wanted to say how VERY much I appreciate all your tutorials and advice. I think I will be up till all hours for the next week watching them all. If you are ever in London please look me up and I will buy you a drink :) Lots of Love, xx Laura p.s. Dawn sweetheart I’ve gained so much extra weight not only because of the lockdown but because of my disability with my right leg first being paralysed for four years with a crushed sciatic nerve and then I broke both my tibia and fibula right at the ankle when I was only walking again for a month without assistance and it never healed properly. Gaining weight I never understood before this and it can truly crush your spirit when you don’t recognise the woman in the mirror any more. Thank you for this wonderful Channel Dawn I truly mean it when I say that it’s such an inspiration. Sending you a big hug from Australia.🤗❤️

I know not much to complain about but I gained 1 lb but on my 5’2” frame, that is a lot! I also have MS so can’t exercise like healthy, well people but do walk a mile or two every or every other day! I have to wear orthotics in my flat or low healed shoes so that has been a challenge! Because of the symptoms of my MS, I prefer loose and comfortable clothing but like to look stylish at the same time! I love dresses for their comfort especially! I am 56 but as you can see by my photo, still look pretty good.

I lost 25 pounds during the pandemic. Apparently, I'm the only one, but now I have no clothes except for my pre-retirement work clothes, most of which are a bit shabby and all of which are black and too big. I really want to wear color now that I'm almost at retirement. Need help!

So I excitedly went to the Roller Rabbit website and was so disappointed that there wasn't anything there that you showcased! You also mentioned a dress costs $60. They averaged around $170, BIG difference. There was also hardly anything I liked. What am I missing here?
