Wow, it’s been too long since Jack graced us with his presence. I know this is three years ago and of course he has played at the ranch since then but still, weeks and weeks have passed. Jorma has been brilliant playing solo, but with Jack? It’s a whole other ball game, his bass playing adds so much to the overall experience. Those little complementary touches he adds to Jormas playing, the simple and understated use of octaves is so much a part of his sound, and of Hot Tuna. I love the acoustic stuff.

This is a really late post to this video, because I missed it live; but it could apply to any Jorma and Jack performance; and I should have said it sooner; Jack doesn't play bass, he plays another guitar, sometime rhythm, sometimes lead,but it certainy isn't just bass. Love it, Jack!

Just thinking how BBQ King would or could be a great heavy electric number. I know Jorma's been doing many electric tunes as acoustic versions throughout the pandemic shows. Maybe do something the other way around?

This is the 8th show labeled 'Quarantine Vault' but #7 included separate performances from Hubby Jenkins and Magic Dick with Shun Ng. I think they are calling that one #7 and #8. Both were great performances by the way.

Then again #6 had both Hubby Jenkins and Peter Rowan and that had only 1 number so I don't know. Again, 2 great performances.
