Thanks for enjoying it! And my tattoo says worthy at the top and the purple rose is a subtle shout out to my husband who has cystic fibrosis. Purple Roses are their symbol! I feel like that was a safer gesture vs. Blatantly getting his name haha we will see if I'm right 😆😉

I love that your little girl likes my video!! That makes me smile. I just had one of my own in May and I hope she's like your girl and doesn't think I'm a horrible singer haha! And I know I need to get my tail in gear and upload more.... I'll find some songs to sing... Love KT btw. And you're right I can sing her pretty well (at least I think so ha!) @@HayleyStewart (Ireland) Congratulations on your little girl! I got a little mini guitar for mine when she was a year old and she adores singing. I used to sing Sweet Child O’ Mine to get her to fall asleep when she was a baby (sometimes I still do - makes a change from singing the Disney repertoire!). KZread’s algorithm created a mix of your songs in my recommended after I listened to a few of them, and we were listening in the car and whenever Hold Your Hand comes on she tells me to put it on repeat! 😂😂😂 You’re a great singer and you definitely have fans! You’ve a unique voice I genuinely love listening to. 👍

It's crazy/flattering/touching to hear that there's people out there who want to listen to me sing on repeat in the car haha if only my parents felt the same way on road trips growing up! Haha! Thanks? Yes that was me on guitar. I'm 31 now and that Wicked Game video was when I was 19/20. Looonnngg ago!

@@HayleyStewart no I think they're worse 😅 I never got into them. I'm more of a metal head but if we're talking oldies I'd say Pink Floyd or Ozzy. But switching it up and listening to different things is nice and refreshing too you know?

@@HayleyStewart I never heard of The Dirt before (I don't have Netflix) but I just watched the trailer and wow! Yeah it looks intense haha. Yeah I can get down with some Motley Crue, they have a nice punchy sound that's fun for sure, even if they are a bit silly =P. Have you discovered any music new or old lately that you can't stop listening to?

John D'Errico oh ya! If you ever have a chance to watch it.. it's great. Better than Bohemian Rhapsody in my opinion. As far as music I'm an old soul so I tend to discover new old music.. have you ever heard of the song Don't Burn Me by Leslie Mann? I've been hooked on that song lately. Another song I've been singing/playing is Midnight Rider by the Allman Brothers. Billy Squier is another one I've been rocking to lately. And Styx! I dunno why but I've been playing Lady a lot. Jane by Jefferson Starship too. Maybe I'm just ready for summer? Jane is one of my favs for the summer time!

Lol. 28 is pushing it. 31 is ...not what it was. Let's just say that. You're probably trying to be polite. Industry wise it's extremely competitive even for those with Talent. When you're a midtier singer like this and have less to make you stand out (which is fine, a large majority are in that pool compared to the top) 30+ is ancient. Because what you are missing - is time+ on training and achieving certain ends. So imagine you think; 40 isn't old for a man. I can start a new career. Well not so much no. Because you take the age + the time to train and prepare. - the competition of people who are younger and more prepared. You'll perhaps see some success in 10-15 years, making you 55. Which isn't unusual (again for middle tier) but it's not worth serious investment. As by the time you find it; you've got a narrow run until you're retired. The target to get anywhere is around 22 years old. That's allowing for a bit of time post education to find your feet and the right opportunity for direction. See age (as it's a depreciating value) as more = 31 is close to 35. At 35 women aren't marketable (ageing changes). 35 is a point where the people I work with say to me, ''assume shes 40'' - because they want to account for that aforementioned settling period. And you can see what the issue is. 31 (by itself) doesn't seem old - and isn't, by 'itself'. Your basically the 'decade after higher education): But to most - if you aren't already established by 35 (caveat extreme 1% talent) you aren't going to get anywhere and should stick to something more fitting your ability like the supermarket. Harsh. But I know the industry all too well. Girls are prepped at age 12+ (and study music and basic skills even earlier); because the big issue with us women is - we age/wilt fast. And it doesn't sell. Younger people take the spots. Final example. When she was 38 Liv Tyler considered herself a hasbeen in Hollywood. And knew that in her mid twenties (in the cooldown of LOTR) that she was ''already on the road to ruin''. And she was right. She will get different types of roles (for older casting) as she ages but the window for those star positions was already long gone at 30. As the population (global) increases this will only get worse.
