Thanks. But not sure why you said the performance of EVs currently can't match internal combustion cars. The acceleration and speed of cars like Tesla and Rivian currently exceed the speed / acceleration of the rival internal combustion by far.

Thanks for these videos! I appreciate your honest and straightforward takes. As far as EVs go, keep in mind that if you can charge at home, the “major inconvenience” of charging taking longer than refueling a gas car isn’t really inconvenient at all. You just plug in every night and you’ve got a full charge every morning when you wake up. The flip side of that is that if you’re on a road trip, it is inconvenient, especially if your car takes 45+ minutes to DC fast charge. (Mine takes 60-75 minutes, so I know the struggle!) And to take that even further, if you don't have a place to charge overnight (i.e., at home), the inconvenience is a serious barrier to ownership. This is where companies like QuantumScape come in; we need batteries that charge to 80% in less than 15 minutes. So again, thank you for covering this company!

Alot of competition out there. Who will be first (with best SS bat tech) and what partnership and agreements can be formed, with EV manufacturers.

Very interesting stock. I'm getting into the space now. How are they going to manufacture? Are they using china?

5:07 have you ever driven an EV? 99% of them out accelerate their gas equivalents, they tend not to have the same top speed but they get to top speed much quicker

And people shouldn’t be reaching the top speed, anyway. Accelerating quickly is genuinely useful for anyone who merges onto the interstate, but going faster than about 85 MPH isn’t necessary for almost anyone. (Most people don’t take cars on tracks; they just drive them to go to work, on vacations, etc.)

I might’ve missed it but the cost per kilowatt hour is very important with EV batteries how does that compare to Tesla which I believe is under $80 per kilowatt hour if you’re going to double or triple the cost per kilowatt hour that is a huge increase in the price of an EV just shave half the time off
