@@darshanchhajed Ratio of P:Q is 6:1 bcoz P fills 6 times faster than Q, so assume if Q fills 1 ltr/min then p must fill 6 ltr/min cuz 6 times faster. Now, Q takes 6 min to fill 6 ltrs bcoz 1 ltr/min yes ? but P only takes 1 min to fill 6 ltrs cuz 6ltr/min it can fill, so that means p takes 5 min lesser than Q to fill 6 ltrs. then use unitary method or cross multiplication method like: 5 min less = 6 ltrs 40 min less = M ltrs cross multiply gives - > 40 x 6 = 5 x M M = 240 / 5 = 48 ltrs, which is total capacity of tank. now, they ask how much time it will take if both fill together so add their ltr/mins i.e ( 6 ltr/min + 1 ltr/min = 7 ltr/min) now time taken by both to fill = total capacity / total ltr/min = 48 ltrs / 7 ltr/min = 6.8 which is also 6 6/7. ( 6/7 = 0.8) hope u understood now 👍

doubt : Sreeji can stich a suit in 3 hours less time than Premji. Sreeji stitches it alone for 4 hours and then Premji takes over and completes it. If altogether 14 hours were required to stich the shuit, how many hours would Premji take to stitch the same alone?

can you explain: A work was completed by three persons of equal ability, first one doing m hours for m days, second one doing n hours for n days (m and n being integers) and third one doing 16 hours for 16 days. The work could have been completed in 29 days by third person alone with his respective working hours. If all of them do the work together with their respective working hours, then they can complete it in about how many days?

50:00 sir thoda complex bna diya....Sir ish question ko easy kiya ja sakta tha...... Solution: if one pipe A is 6 time faster than another pipe B. It's mean ration b/w pipe A and pipe B ( A:b = 6:1) it's mean if Pipe A fill tank 6 liter in 1 minute than pipe B fill tank in 1 liter in 1 minute. According to Question: Pipe B complete fill tank in 28 minutes. it's mean cistern/tank capicity is 1 * 28 = 28 liter. if both pipe open in ( 6 + 1) than tank fill 7 liter in 1 minutes so that, cistern will be complete fill if both pipe open in 28 / 7 = 4 minutes. (Answer).
