Ya no he's ridiculous now theres so much dirt I might make my elder god run this season with him and sareena its kinda busted. sareenas unoriginal I know but her meter drain is an ambush move with his new meter drain portal OR the bone trap is just so fun. And she fits the evil edgy sorcerer aesthetic it feels like they were designed with each other in mind.

A trick you can do to instant air skull is hold both up and back and as soon as Quan is in the air just press f1 quickly and it should come out. His purple instant air skull is actually good for punishing pokes since its a mid.

Love this new patch . I’m glad i stuck with Quan . Now let’s see mopping people online .

My Quan Chi & Subzero Kameo team is horrific. I am able to combo into a freeze while the foe is in the air, then use the orange portal into bone cage, then do a two-hit Quan Chi combo into another bone cage, all while orange portal is still active. I put fear into the hearts and minds of Johnny Cage players. Quan for Life, Dark Dink!

Also when u r in the corner،a blocked d1 into portal is garantied،Quan can kinda force his aponent to leave the corner Plus ive been labbing with subzero kameo،and his freez can make sure the portal absorbed enough meter for the armor so its basicly mkx Quan And subzero freeze provides enough time to open 2 portals and Continue comboing I might just switch my kameo to subzero tbh

Sub can also do the cage reset combo that can net you up to 70%

Excellent video as usual man! Very good stuff.

One thing to note with Zone of Fear is that some characters can actually brute force their way through (pretty sure it's a bug). Mainly characters like Sub-Zero and Havik that have low profile fast advancing specials can go through it if they space it properly. It's either they get as close to the center of the portal as possible or they do it from around jump distance away. However, those specials are super minus and you can react (if you didn't press anything that is) and block then punish. Otherwise great video as always :)

Yes it is a bug but people will abuse it so just watch out tell it gets fixed

The opponent can wavedash through the green portal, but doing that will make them vulnerable to any sort of check you want to throw their way. Also you cant really block low while wavedashing, so b3 can check them for full combos.

I use sub zero as my kameo. The new portal is going to be very useful in my combos bc I currently put out the purple portal in combos with out using it bc it builds meter, has them guessing n it looks cool. Now I can throw new portal instead to stop them from breaking pretty much everytime I want.

I tryed to do Shang Tsung combo shown in this video, but i can't get it to work, i do the down fire balls correctly, but when i kick them and do down fire ball, it pushes the opponent away idk why!?!? can someone explain to me what i am doing wrong?? ps: I tryed this, while komboing young Shang to old Shang from the air to the ground.

So that portal the second portal Zona fear the only way to pull that out is amplify the first portal zone of power am I correct on that that's unfortunate that they don't have their own inputs

Quan Chi definitely has some good complexity to him. I think they honestly released him a little early, he needed some refining, i played him through season 3 invasions and just used him again for season 4 and he definitely seems a lot better with the adjustments they made.

That buff was as mild as kenshi nerf 🤦🏽‍♂️

These buff are awful for Quan, they need to buff my Havoc ok and I don't want bull shit buffs 😂🙏
