QUALITY OFFICE CHAIR FROM IKEA??
In this review we will be taking a look at the Hatterfjall office chair from IKEA. The quality of the material is really good since its made out of goatskin. It's a very supple and durable material. This office chair also comes with many functions. One of the functions of this office chair is that you can adjust the depth of the seat. Other functions include adjusting the backrest to 5 different heights, you have a tilt option and obviously you can adjust the height of the office chair. Most, if not all office chairs or desk chairs from IKEA come with safety castors so when you get up from your chair they lock. The Hatterfjall office chair also comes with armrests that can be adjusted so you can choose how shallow or deep you want your arms to be positioned. One problem I noticed with these armrests is that due to the material it is made out of, leaning on them for longer periods of time makes my elbows/forearms sore. In my opinion, if I'm buying office chairs or desk chairs at this price point, then I expect an overall comfortable sitting experience. Overall, I found the seat and the backrest to be comfortable. But unfortunately. if you're buying an office chair or desk chair at this price point, then I expect the armrests to be comfortable as well.

You montaged the armrests the wrong way. The thick part has to be in the front, otherwise the angle is completely wrong and they are even more uncomfortable

was it possible to lock the backrest at any angle when reclining back?
After Sliding Seat max to front, is the actual seating space Depth: 20inch X Width: 20inch?

The measurement of the width wouldn't change and as for the depth it's more like 19 inches than 20
You didn't mention that the armrests also adjust up and down. And I personally found them really comfortable because I could get them exactly the height I wanted.

It turns out the adjustable height arm rests were only added to this in early 2022.

@@Autotrope do you know if the armrests can be removed though? I seen the older version doesn't have them which I was looking for

@@natsjournal3828 yes you can simply not attach the arm rests. They attach to the underside of the curved chair bottom which is visible but the holes where they attach is somewhat concealed by a seam in the covering. So if the arm rests aren't attached it should still look ok.

I bought this chair today. After assembling I noticed that seat depth is not getting adjusted... There is a handle on the Left hand side, and I can just move this handle up and down but seat depth is not getting adjusted. Can you help me how do I do it ?

If you follow what I do in the video, you should be able to adjust the depth. It's kind of difficult to see the problem if I can't see your chair. I would go back to the instructions and see if you followed them properly and if everything is fine, there could be a manufacturing issue with the left handle.

I'm laughing every time someone strictly uses inches in an online content, it's only used in the U.S and only for certain things... Time to ditch the ridiculous imperial system my dear American friends, you're not alone in this world, or should I say you're a minority.

Yes. But: Not in this Video, but there is a new version of the Chair where u can actually adjust the armrests
