I was at the game, the Wales fans were booing the flares lit up as the Polska anthem started. No one was booing the anthem. Wales has seen very tragic events with flares at football matches in the past (Google the Welsh fan killed by flare) and they are illegal for safety reasons. It's a very contentious issue. Welsh fans have respect for Poland and the anthem, it was only the flares people were booing.

I have always dreamt about "SUPER GREAT ULTRA NATIONS TOURNAMENT" where the participants are: Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, the Vatican city, San Marino, Gibraltar and Andorra

Poor old Dan James looked shellshocked BEFORE he took his penalty! I don't think I've ever seen somebody look more nervous when stepping up to take a spot-kick. I have no idea why he decided to go that way because he must have watched enough shoot-outs to know that right-footed players who try to put the ball in the left-hand corner(and left-footed players who try to put the ball in the right-hand corner) seldom score if the 'keeper dives the right way, as it's very hard to get the ball right into that corner with power. See the two penalties Greece missed tonight and just about every other shoot-out in the history of football!

As a Pole I think both teams should participate in the tournament. Wales, you also deserve a standing ovation for the incredible fight till the end. That was one of the best matches of the whole qualification, a true BATTLE.
