20 000 dollars for this.... Damn ! Old school game tornaments was huge. Nowadays it is League of legends and Counter strike. Overwatch is also making championship tornaments but at this time we got nothing like this.

You have to remember that Q3 went through so many revisions/updateas in the early days, that I bet if U downloaded the exact version used in this match that it would feel horribly different than it did in quake Live 2015. The most notable being that physics changed dramatically between updates...and as a result bunny hopping was insane in certain updates and felt hopeless in others. It's more incredible watching early QW matches before bunny hopping was discovered vs the craziness of QW players 5 years later. The early days of Q3 were so much better, far more engagements. The later years became so focussed on item control that matches ended up a single didget frag snooze fest on most occassions.

the engine was pretty smooth & consistent for q3a -- at least once you got past 1.17 & floor damage -- but two big things to keep in mind when watching early vids: 1) the game as a whole was still quite young, & even the most seasoned pros had only a couple years' experience; and 2) the hardware people were playing on in 99, 2000, 2k2 was far below what would come out even a couple years later. We're talking 1st-generation intellimouse, 400-dpi logitechs, buggy razers that would spin to the left if you picked them up wrong... heck, at events like razer and babbages, lots (most?) people were still using ball mice. there's a huge increase in accuracy and smoothness between what people were able to do in 2k2 vs the same people in 2k6, regardless of whether you're talking top pros or the average field.

@@jonborden couples of years is not nothing :) for the hardware and the mouses I was a danger even on early days with a ball mouse I don't think it's that important to explain the skill difference.

Damn, had my money on Daler.

Естественно, они будут болеть за своего) Хотя, справедливости ради они были достаточно нейтральны здесь. Ну то есть, конечно же они болели за Дэйлера, но могли бы болеть сильнее, но не стали.

Какого этого? Это невозможно , как и путешествия в прошлое. Если бы люди с годами не теряли бы реакцию и вообще интерес у игре , то любой отец тех лет , сейчас был бы просто монстром и с учетом опыта и набранных с годами скилов (с учётом новых техник и скоростей) ебашил бы школоту осовремененную как ссцаных ослов . Так что некорректно сравнивать дедушек с тем уровнем сознания(другого небыло ) и новое поколение :))

@@Pintkonan yeah I was too young when quake 3 came out. My first experience with quake was quake live, and I barely stuck around then. I only got into quake with Quake Champions actually

I was a old player of quake 3. For me Daler have more quality, her movemevent are better and use of railgun also.
