quadeca was an INCREDIBLE ACT but holy shit this venue did him SO FUCKING DIRTY. consistent audio issues, bandmates couldn't hear themselves, just felt like he was getting sabotaged. i wanted to see this man live for the LOOONGEST but he would never perform in nyc or anywhere close to me. i'm surprised this event was even IN MONTCLAIR NEW JERSEY OUT OF ALL PLACES 💀 but alas, that's an act crossed off my bucket list. i absolutely love his newest album and he did his best! i participated in the moshpit for "sisyphus" and it was nothing but cathartic. i also MET HIM WHEN I WENT TO GO GET ANOTHER SHIRT OF HIS CUZ I LOST IT DURING JALEEL'S SET LMAO we took a pic and i asked him to sign my cassette. i also asked if there were any songs he had to cut to which he said he had to cut "tell me a joke" and the acoustic intro to "picking up hands". hope i get to see him again soon!
