To take it off you have to Push the release tab down while twisting the phone out?

Is it a good protective case ?

I have found the case to be really good. I have dropped it plenty of times on the edges with no damage. It is not waterproof and does not cover the front of the phone. So any direct impact on the front ( unless you have one of their screen protectors) could cause issue. But I keep the case on all the time as i also use it on my desk and van. Hope this helps

Do they have bigger arm bands as a selection..or do they all run small??

Jahari Neloson the armband can be adjusted by both sides to accommodate small and large arms between a circumference of 17 - 38cm or 6.5 - 15 inches. So a good range of sizes for bigger arms. Hope this helps, thanks for watching

As the QL attachment on their cases are generic for all phone types it connects the same as all other phone models. That being said the max is a big phone so you may find quite heavy no matter what arm band you use to run with. Hope this helps

Doesn't look like its water proof

Hey Kevin, Correct , The Poncho is water resistant not 100% waterproof, so great for running in the rain but not can't be submerged in water. You could use their Universal Kit which allows you to use your choice of 100% waterproof case with the armband : note: ( makes sure the case works with the adapter, has to be hard, flat surface ) have a look at all the details here: www.quadlockcase.com/products/running-kit-universal-fit Hope this helps!

You can buy a separate waterproof sleeve to cover the phone through quadlock.. Ive got one for my bike and its great..
