i enjoyed the video i have lived here in quad cities my 50 years. was nice seeing what places you visited. so many nice restaurants to go to depending what type of food you are looking for. whiteys is definitely the best ice cream.

Hello. We are brand new susbscribers and came upon your channel when looking for Great Lakes videos and have been catching up ever since. We love your videos and have learned so much from your adventures...giving us all kind of ideas where to go. You two are so natural and down to earth and FUNNY!!!! May I ask you do you stay in motels , air b&b's or camp while you're going on your adventures? If you'd rather not say that's ok. We are retired and would love to do what you do but the cost of hotels, meals and gas really inhibit us to just a couple of trips a year and we gave up camping 2 years ago. Thanks for being here !

We are very budget concious so when ever possible we actually stay with family and friends. When we do overnight we try to stay at the same chain of hotels to get points for free night stays. We also try not to stay on a Fri or Sat so that we get a much better rate. Hope that helps, and please share any new places you discover in your adventures. We are always looking for new places to explore.

Videos are very good, but please lower the volume of the background music. The music overshadows the narration.
