The PTTA methods of training Kali have become more in demand in recent years, but finding local instructors in remote parts of the world is often difficult.
Additionally, current practitioners of Filipino or other Martial Arts are often looking for resources to supplement their regular training.
The online training platform, Pekiti University, was created to address these demands, and will continue to evolve into a resource that will keep you progressing in your pursuit of the Filipino Martial Arts.
Pekiti University will also be a source of training and information on the PTTA - TRICOM programs that were developed over the past two decades to meet the training needs of police and military Special Operations around the world.

If the stick is supposed to represent a bladed weapon, how can you block the stick with your left arm like that without injuring yourself really bad? At the very least you'd need to be wearing some kind of bracer on that arm to execute this move without injuring yourself.

the drill can be modified to block forearm to weapon holding forearm. the knife variation of this drill does block at the forearm, not at the blade. There are many many ways to make this drill adapt to your preferences.

You are parrying the inside of the blade/stick. Notice there's no grabbing of the stick.
