Dear Baig Sahib thanks for your time and efforts. Dear there was no Sharab Khana in city area. This location of Taj Soda Water Factory never prepared or sold wine or alcohol. Now there is fourth generation who makes carbonised soft bottled drinks. The big building at opposite was originally Consulate of Afghanistan upto 1970 and now Afghan Government Trade Office. By the way there were three Wine Shops in Peshawar Cantt /Saddar area owned by a Christian and two Parsis which closed down during 1977 protests. I am old Peshawari now living in London. Lol. ❤

It seem very rich Hindu and sikh people used to live in Pakistan area before partition in 1947,if they had not come to India during partition, conditions of Pakistan would had been something else .

In Mumbai 🇮🇳,Hindko is widely spoken at GTB Nagar ( formerly called Punjabi Refugee camp) Where mainly refugees hailing from NWFP were settled after partition. One can find many Hazarewaals ( people from Abbottabad, Haripur, Serai Saleh & Mansehra before partition), Pishoris ( who came from Peshawar before partition) & Chhachi biradri ( refugees who came from Hazro , Ghourghusti & Malakmala in Attock district) in GTB Nagar.

@rabyeahsam9929 it's now in Himachal Pradesh back then it was part of Punjab. Unlike Pakistan India further divided it's Punjab into 4 more states ( Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand & Chandigarh U.T)

Dilip Kumar and Raj kapoor speaks Hindko , that is the origional langauge of peshawar city .

Basically Raj Kapoors father Prithvi Raj was born in Samundi District Faisalabad ( Lyallpur) so this family basically Punjabi who migrated to Peshawar from Lyallpur district Punjab

Garhwal rifle ke famous subedar veer chandra singh garhwali ne 1930april me pathan logon par goli chalane se mana kar diya. Unhe famous freedom fighter ke naam se jaana jaata hai
