well, I didn't subscribe to you chanel but i always run over your videos :) . again a good job in animation. you understand the principle of the QEV (or in this case: barrel sealing piston valve) very well and your scheme is absolutely accurate. 5/5*

@bestuser3 i shure will and you can use a qev for both semi automatic air guns or a full automatic airgun it just depends where you connect the componets.

@hamcheesesalami yes you can but it depends on how you make the qev or wich one you buy and wich way you connect the air inputs and such you can use like 3 things to make the most basic multi shot airgun using a qev and a ball valve or any other valve that can turn of a flow of air and a reserve tank and thats it you conect it so that the air input goes into the valve then into the qev an then the qev is set up so when u open valv it fills reseve then we u close valve it fires out of qev.

Its quit impressive esp u demonstrated its output pressure by blowing away the plywood,even though its still a unfinished model (n i gave u 5/5) looking forward to see yr next vid. PS:I do have another semi-auto blue-print plan n i was thinking whether or not to published it since im kinda run out of time...^^|||

what if I hold the trigger pushed down? will the air/gas continue to flow or the qev automatically close after some air/gas leaks?

Useful. Thanks. The point about buildin potentially lethal nerf guns is not shooting, is developing a basic engineering project. On other vids i've seen the Orbit brand valve and what to do with it (though that piece is ok for my purpose but huge for fit into a bb gun). Then i barely got how it works, but here i found "the science". Now if i want to find a micro valve like this to apply on a more refined project i know what to ask for, and if a child wants to do a bank robbery with his airgun he can get rich fast without necessarily remaining ignorant (about pneumatics at least :P )

someone please help! so pretty much you have the pressure chamber and the barrel separated by a seal held in place by a spring right? so how is the seal moved when you release all the air through the sprinkler hose? is the spring suppossed to be just strong enough to hold the seal in place until the air pressure builds enough to hold it?

it worked for me and its much easyer cuz i cant get hold of pipes and valves and its easier for me to get these siimple hosepipe pices and made some my self

but it's already been done. It won't push the piston back because the piston gets pushed toward the barrel due to the high pressure

It looks like to me there will be more air going out thru the air bleed system back to the air tank or even worse, to the atmosphere, rather than thru the barrel.

thats a barrel sealing piston valve.

you probably would have had more luck if you searched for homemade piston valve, instead of qev. that's what we call em in the spudgun'n biz

+nald rus basically theres a plate that is pushed forward by lower pressured air and when you let the lower pressured air by pulling the trigger then the plate moves backward and then letting out the high pressured air(more powerfull air) out
