En Busca De Las Ultimas Ayllu De Las Incas
Q'ero: In search of the last Inca (Machu Picchu to hiding places of the Inca bloodline) is a documentary about the Q'eros, a community of Peruvian Indians, believed to be the last survivors of the Inca bloodline. Researched and Produced by Mo Fini, the founder of Tumi UK who has worked and travelled in Latin America over the last thirty years. It provides a rare insight into the culture, mythology and spiritual values of the Andean people. The film follows the demanding journey to reach the remote and inaccessible community, examines the fabric of their rural mountain existence, their music, rituals and culminates in their annual pilgrimage to the Quoylleriti Festival.

beautiful video. thank u so much! enjoyed :)
All my respect Mo. I have been exploring almost the whole Q'ero Nation, the 5 communities of Markachea, Totorani, Hatun Q'ero, Quiko and Japu and their 30 altitude villages for about 14 years. Many could criticize the accuracy of the information or any other aspect of your documentary but I see these images with great emotions. Thanks a lot for this !!!

Thank you ❤️🙏
Me encanta mi Perú.
los qeros viven como nuestros antepasados en armonía con naturaleza
Muy bien por el documental. A leguas se ve la sobre exigencia con los pobres caballos, yeguas o mulas que les llevan el equipaje. Conciencia con el trato animal
Yes it certainly is. The way they combine certain colors and patterns is also very unique and beautiful, they have some of my favorite textiles of the ancients. The headdress at 31:35 looks similar to one that was found on a small silver male statue buried with a child sacrifice on top of a mountain I can't even try to pronounce or spell. It was incredible just to look at.
Thank you for this beautiful informative film. Dear Pachamama and the wonderful Qero's. Blessings to them all and especially the Apu's I am very grateful to you for posting this. Thank you
But it's very easy to see the past with the critical eyes of the present, isn't it ? Anyway I have liked the way you have mixed with the people and despite the lack of accurate information you might have been suffering I do believe that you deserve a "chapeau monsieur" for sharing your experience. It contribute to understand the biaised intercultural relationship between Q'ero and the rest of Andean society, particularly cusquenian society. It is also interesting to compare with nowadays Q'ero.
I'm Incan:) My grandma gets mad when I say I'm Peruvian so I guess this makes sense why now...

Nice to see Ccatacocha, Willkakunka Ccasa, Tandanya, Apu Huaman Ripa, el poblado principal de Hatun Q'ero, ... I can imagine as you have had a local guide (from Cusco I think) that the information you give in this documentary is influenced by the particular way cusquenian see the Q'ero, with a mix of "indigenismo", cultural re-creation tainted with Andean neo-mysticism and I hear quite a lot of mistakes and stereotypes.
Sad how much was destroyed and disrespected.
este vídeos es de que año porque se ven más orinales verdadero INCAs me siento orgulloso mantengo el idiomas quechua .
Final credits say original footage shot in 1993. Wish I had known at beginning so I would have looked more carefully at faces --- thought I recognized several, but age was "wrong". Perhaps one day I will take the time to watch again with this timing in mind.
38:30 song's name??
omg this video starts off with false informations. The interaimi is a modern celebration created my the people of the reason years. A lot of what this guy is saying he probably found it on Wikipedia his obviously not a real scholar
