Gaza and Ukraine are different. In Gaza, there's really nowhere for civilians to go where they will be safe. If there is no ceasefire, they'll likely either be killed by Israel or Hamas. In Ukraine, civilians can travel to the west side of the country where the Ukranian state can protect them. The Ukranians are fighting a war of self defense. Israel is fighting an insurgency in foreign territory.

The holy Quran of Muslims acknowledges the concept of the Promised Land and its covenant between God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Israelites (Children of Israel) as the chosen people. But the Quran also emphasizes that the fulfillment of that covenant is contingent upon their adherence to God's guidance and righteousness and that if they failed to uphold their part of the covenant, the blessings associated with it could be revoked. The Quran also mentions instances where the Children of Israel deviated from these commandments, which led to them breaking the covenant with God. If you read Quran 5:20-26 (i.e. from verse 20 to 26), these verses clearly reflect such an incident where the Israelites disobeyed God to which Prophet Moses (pbuh) became upset and complained to God about their disobedience. The complaint of Prophet Moses about Israelites to God is as follows, “He (Moses) said, “My Lord! I have control only over myself and my brother (Aaron), so separate between us and between the wicked people (Israelites)” (Quran 5:25). There are several other instances where the Israelites disobeyed God’s commandments mentioned in other verses of Quran. These include lack of gratitude for divine blessings, Shirk (polytheism), rejection and murder of Prophets etc. A significant transgression was their denial of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) as their Messiah, and their attempt to crucify him, a figure meant to bring about their redemption. Subsequently, some Jews acknowledged their error and anticipated the arrival of the last Prophet in Medina based on the Hebrew Bible, but upon the advent of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), they rejected him as well. Due to their disobedience and rejection of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) as their Messiah and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as their last prophet, they are considered disbelievers in God's sight. Consequently, their religious claim to rule the promised land is transferred to Muslims who believe in all the prophets, from Moses (peace be upon him) and Jesus (peace be upon him) to the final messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Therefore, Muslims are supposed to rule Jerusalem (Al Quds) and the areas surrounding it, which implies all the present-day regions of Israel. Even in the event that Muslims do not succeed in reclaiming Jerusalem, there is a belief in Islamic eschatology that God has promised the return of Jesus (peace be upon him) before the end times. According to this belief, Jesus will play a pivotal role by defeating the anti-Christ or false Messiah (Dajjal), who, in Jewish perspective, will be regarded as their Messiah. Following this, Jesus (peace be upon him) is expected to rule the world for a period of 40 years, with Jerusalem serving as the capital under the guidance of Islamic Sharia.
