Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi born in Upper Egypt, was an Egyptian Qur'anic reciter. he comes from a family of Qari (reciters) Son of shiekh Siddiq El-Minshawi, his brother Mahmoud El-Minshawi is also a famous reciter. Born: 1 January 1920, in Egypt Died: 20 June 1969

though I myself can't recite Quran e Pak like Qari but Minshavi is a piece apart. He developed his own distinctive style and excelled in that. All Qari sahibans r good but Shiekh Minshavi has done true justice to the word of God. May Allah bless his soul with eternal peace.Ameen!. May Allah Almighty give us all the eye and heart to understand the true meaning of Quranic verses because they are far deeper than we think. saif

What are you talking about, Qari Minshawi, Qari Abdul Basit, Qari Husary all passed away at a young age. They accomplished so much in such a short time. May Allah have mercy upon them all and grant them Jannah tul Firdaus
