Qaqortoq Greenland Walking Tour & Things to Do
A Qaqortoq Greenland Walking Tour reveals a picturesque destination. After cruising through Prince Christian Sound in the southern tip of Greenland, we spent the next day at Qaqortoq. This colorful and quirky seaport has a population of about 3,200 people. And it’s a hub for many industries, such as, fishing, tanning, fur production, tourism and ship maintenance. Enjoy my walking tour.

Thanks, Greenland is a special place. Wow, just checked out your site and will watch the videos of Greenland.
Thanks for an attractive little tour of Qoqortoq. Being in the far south of Greenland in a similar latitude to Iceland it's much greener in summer than places further north, even some small trees! Quite a pretty town.

BEAUTIFUL. CAN YU TELL ME THE DISTANCE FROM WHERE TENDER DROPS OFF PASSENGERS.
@TrueWindHealingTravel

The drop off from tender is right outside the Welcome Center in video. Then, the town square and fountain is about a 5-minute walk. However, walking into the hills is obviously longer about 15-20-minute walk to the locations with views. It's a wonderful place for a walking tour.

Thank you, now I am looking for a map.
Enjoyed your video. We will be going there in September 2023. Are there any tours that you can purchase. I know the ship does have any. My husband would not be able to walk very far and it would be nice if someone could drive us around . Also do you know if they take US dollars? Thanks for any info you can share.

There are some taxis but very few. If you can book online ahead of time a driver that would be best. It will be tender to get over there. Currency is Danish Krone, but some vendors take U.S. Dollar. Good Luck and enjoy this amazing port.
Hello! Can you please tell me which month of the year you took this video? We are going in July 2024 and wondering what coat(s) to take. Thank you

Please identify the flowers. You say”lake below. Is it indeed a lake or part of the ocean? Lots of flowers, what month?
@TrueWindHealingTravel

The purple flowers are Lupine. Don't know what yellow ones are. Yes, this is a large lake that creek empties into it. Harbor is close by too.
May I know what month was that when the footage was taken ?
