matt lindsay A pity that Ansett is not around anymore to do their own retro jets. I'd like to see a series of TAA and Australian Airlines retro jets from QF.

S787iFly I loved Ansett. I called you Mr Ansett cause of the picture of the ansett tail on your profile. If Ansett was still around Id love to see a 737 in the delta livery.....that is the red colour they had before the Southern Cross livery (like the ansett tail youve got). I loved that blue livery that TAA had on the 727s, DC9s and Fokker 27s - I liked that better than the Camel Hump livery.

matt lindsay The 70's T-Jet livery was my favourite for TN. While I loved the bright orange of the delta I prefer the sophistication of the sotuhern cross with the "Ansett." titling. No one has ever done that before or since that I'm aware. AN may not have been a profitable business but at least they tried new ideas.

Great vdo Stephan. Good seat with engie view. Snack on plane not bad. Lucky you fly brand new B738 with PTV and retro livery. Next week I will fly to Rochester via Chicago Midway from Seattle on SWA.

pbateson I've never been through Midway or flown on SWA but I hear they are good.

What a great video Stephen. Excellent seat and a lovely take off. James Strong was my CEO in 1994 during the merger and was a great man. I just love the retro jet and it reminds me of the old 747sp's I used to watch land from my house in Wellington.
