I guess all of us have exactly the same problem. The same thing happened with me. I took very great care to plug in the HDMI to the arc outlet of my television, and even though I called the Samsung tech and had her step through it with me while she watched on screen, she kept on telling me OK the sound should be coming through your sound bar, but it never did. There Hass to be a common link between each of our cases that have replied to your comment. I could never get my HDMI to work so now I can only watch on Bluetooth. It’s not a big deal but it just text me off that they offer the option and make it look so easy, but it never connects.

@@kevenrector5321 I solved my issue this morning after watching "How to Setup a Soundbar in 2023 + Troubleshooting. Samsung, LG, Sonos, Bose etc" by Archway Tech. Try that. For me, I had to enable 'HDMI-CEC' which was off by default on my LG

bluetooth alac is supported so if you have sportify premium or apple music you get the most out of it!

I recently purchased Q800B soundbar. The upfiring speakers is not working . I tried Netflix with Atmos content. The soundbar display shows Atmos but no sound from Upfiring speakers. I contacted Samsung engineer but they said the sound effect is that much only can expect from this Soundbar. Not sure samsung used the dummy speakers to increase the Speaker numbers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE BUYING THESE HIGHER-END SOUNDBARS: Got a Q700B, which is less weight than the Q700A, and the bracket-holes to mount the soundbar are slightly more than 24" apart - ie, _not a typical distance that studs are,_ at 12-16". On top of that, there are *no screws included* to actually screw the washers into the wall, *_likely because Samsung knows people will mostly only be able to drill into their drywall,_* which is simply not strong enough to hold ~20lbs with only 2 screws. More screws and a cross-bracket of some kind, maybe, but not 2 screws through 2 washers holding a 20lb soundbar. This all happens because naturally a TV mount _will_ be screwed into studs which are 12-16" apart, thus having the center line forcing the bracket holes to be wildly out of range for the studs. Samsung, U dumb. 🖐🎤💥

You plug in the power cord and hdmi and then all of the wires just disappear?

Q990C issue, unable to change the name of the device with Smartthings as the special character of square brackets cannot be deleted. Tried many options. As the soundbar is not being connected to Firetv stick. Any solution?

Products are awesome and so is the upcycle. Downside of entire Samsung India is product availability. Let it be soundbar or QLEDs, nothing is available for purchase. Not sure what's the strategy of Samsung India!

i can not connect wifi. messages says "disconnected". called the customer service. very dumb guys there. soundbar work flawlessly otherway. can not connect to smart things, though. i switched wifi types (2.5, 5GHz...) to no avail any advice?

Please dont buy samsung sound bars, Worst experience for me I brought SAMSUNG Q990B With in a month it was not working, suddenly it will go offline, it won't respond for remote, of we do it forcefully center channel won't work... This is a brand new product form samsung. I am not reliable with soundbars.
