Your family is making a good life for you. It is so cool to see a family work together.
Good evening! Quite a treat, having Jade on camera and smiling! Good video Q&A.
I agree with the consensus. Jade is a treat & easy to watch. I don't care if I sound creepy either. Thanks for sharing content. I'm part of a LT70 crew that runs as weekend warriors. It's honest work. 💪✌️
That was informative and fun. IMO, your videography and editing skills continue to grow weekly. Thanks for bringing us along on this journey.
Wow!! Jade speaks!! Both of you are lovely and talented, and it's a joy to watch your videos.
Oh Look! Jade can smile 😁

Right?.. I keep wondering what they can make a video of next?.. I didn't think a log yard had so many topics.

Just think what amazing videos they could have made if they'd worked in a machine shop. There's an endless variety of topics to cover in milling, drilling, turning, welding, stamping, forming, measuring, machine tools, tooling, repair, maintenance, programming, etc.

em congrats with finishing you high school education. my oxymoron question was it in a public high school 9r in a home school environment. my college guess is home school program and independent study with a splash of school of hard knocks. homeschool with guidance counseling from boss man boss lady and grand pa an a dog name rocky and an ice covered river called icy. and freezing xul or icy hot or icy not

Best q and a I ve seen , you totally walk the walk and talk the talk , you know what you want in life and are happy with it , more is not best , knowing what you do, doing it right and loving how and what you do is its own best reward , you both are so down to earth , and happy with your lives 😊
Red hair and a halo… that would be a miracle!
What nice girl's,mom and dad done a great job with you too! Easy too like and learn with you two. Little man and that dog are priceless! What a bond. Keep it safe ladies and keep the video's a rolling. God bless the family members.later Devo on the block.
Thanks for the Q and A ladies! Have a great evening! TTFN
It actually made me happy that you are not going to college and are continuing with your expanding business. You already have your business degrees with straight A's and will become even more educated than the majority of collegiate graduates. You also have a rich, wonderful life, which is the most important thing.

Skipping college is very questionable indeed
@fewwiggle
Жыл бұрын
@@eviltomthai Hmmmmm, what is questionable these days is the value of a college education. A motivated person can acquire almost everything they would get in college by self-study (and without the indoctrination and BS). The only exceptions are the advanced sciences or engineering type stuff.
@jacobwilliams5271

@@fewwiggle " Indoctrination" is your kids learning to think for themselves and not keeping the bigoted ideals you raised them with. Unless your family has set you up for life, like these girls parents have, it is very difficult for most people to make decent money with just a HS diploma. College is about more than learning what is being taught in your classes, the real education comes from getting to know, interact, and exchange ideas with people from all walks of life. Surrounding yourself with people who only think just like you is how a lot of people ( on both sides of the aisle) end up so out of touch with reality.

@@jacobwilliams5271 One form of bigotry is thinking that anyone not like you is bigoted . . . . "Unless your family has set you up for life, like these girls parents have" Wow, the condescension -- the assumptions about other people's lives . . . Regardless, college is a monoculture -- there is no (tolerated) diversity of thought there . . . .

Two of my favorite young ladies of KZread thank you for sharing this awesome video.
You did that very well. You answered some of the questions I had, college, how tall, etc.. I like the way both of you think before answering, that shows common sense and intelligence. Thanks for doing this it makes watching you all the better when we know you as real people.
Go-Pro on the dog, it's a must! :)~ is Emerald's halo is held up by horns? looks like Emerald has a little coffee addiction?

Nice "change of pace" video. Very well done! Take care and God bless. 👊🏼🇺🇸

A delightful bright spot in my day, ladies, Thank Que !
On the education question. Back in the day we would just say we were educated in the school of hard knocks. 👋👍😃 Thanks Ladies! Much success to you!
These Q&A videos are fun to watch in between the log yard work. Thank you and keep the videos coming! I like your sense of humor!
Y'all rock. Keep up the good n honest work. Much love from another PA boy✌️

This could not have been posted at a better time. THANK YOU .
Love it too hear a Q&A from you ladies, and always keep up the great work!
Thank you - that was fun and enjoyed some of your answers. Kinda nice seeing ya away from milling for a bit. And side note - just seeing how clear those skies are makes me want to move close, such a lovely day it appears. May your Summer be decent and more fun than not. Take care, T
Thanks for doing and answering the Q&A. Looking forward to the video on the missing equipment.

I loved the Q & A. Y’all are transparent and real. Keep up the good work!
You both are very mature and great humans. It makes my day when I see growth like you two have accomplished.
A few questions for the next time you do one of these.... 1) How much Coffee does Emerald drink in a day? Maybe you could come up Board Foot per Cup metric. 🙂 2) Are there types of wood you could cut but don't and why? 3) What % of lumber is from timber your family business cuts vs logs provided by others who are just paying for you to cut lumber for them? 4) What's your favorite season to be outside milling? Personally, nothing like a crisp fall morning splitting firewood. Warms you 4 times, when you cut it, when you haul it, when you split it and then when you burn it. 5) Do either of you ever go out logging and cutting timber or mainly back at the mill? Would love to see some content of timber harvesting. 6) Have you ever got a completely deformed log where you scratched your head wondering how you're going to attack cutting it but also just couldn't bring yourself to discarding it? 7) Is there a type of wood you'd love to mill someday but can't because it's not locally available? Great channel. Career has me in big city living now so it brings back a lot of fond memories of my younger years.
Great watch. Thank You.
The Boss is running the business like a farm where he passes on the business to the children. It makes me believe there is still good in this country and wish you girls all the luck you deserve.
how fun this was. You kids really make my day.
Thank you, ladies. 👍
Wow. You girls are awesome. Great questions, great answers. No you don't need to go to college because you're getting the best education of all right there in the log yard. Hard work, running a great successful business and having fun with a KZread video channel.
Your dad must be really proud having 2 daughters boosting his company 👍👍 Greets from Sweden 🇸🇪
Thanks beautiful ladies.
enjoyed the video. thanks for sharing 👍
Jade is honestly amazing 💯🧡
You are so awesome! Thanks for sharing
Very interesting. Sounds like the family business is growing into different aspect of the lumber business and wood by products. Great to have a business with a ready made family to run and operate the business.
I had a German shepherd female named Roxy, she was an awesome dog. ROXY cam please. It will probably blow your mind and you could edit out the boring parts. great show. keep it up!!! you are helping your family business and your own careers. 👍👍
These are two gorgeous young ladies! Love them!! 🥰
Could one of you ask Sammi to send you a clip of her waving hello and maybe showing what she's doing? You get comments about her all the time.

PA is a wonderful state! I used to live in NoVa, MD, NJ and briefly in Wayne, PA ...I really miss that region
I love to learn the the whole process your channel rocks !+!
Thanks to you gals for a video that you wouldn't normally produce I found it entertaining !!
Good video & good answers. Small comment on gloves - I cut & bucked a few hundred cords of fire killed or dead pine/spruce & cut many miles of survey line. I'd only wear gloves if it was well below freezing. I'd rarely get splinters - as you noted, there are some simple tricks to avoid them, respect the wood. All the best & hope that you maintain this UTube channel -
My fav Lumberjills...all the best..smiles
My biggest weakness in past life was communication comfort. Thanks!
Solid video! Thanx for the laughs
Emerald your halo shines bright .You guys keep on keeping on .
Loved the video, ladies! I've watched the video by Out of the Woods. Nathan there, runs an LT70 and running a 7° blade. I'm still pretty sure you two could at least match that speed with your LT40! God's blessings in all you do, and I'll look forward to your next video!🙏😊
When my daughters were young it became very clearly evident that even here in the 21st century girls and young women are still being oppressed and limited by societal notions of what they should and shouldn't do. Had your videos been available then just seeing young women, indeed beautiful young women, doing physical work at a mill would've been really helpful in letting them see straight through all that BS. I told them repeatedly that most limitations are self imposed; don't limit yourself and never let others limit you. It's great to see strong, healthy young women who have a strong sense of self determination.

Yeah, it's partially kind of silly. There are parents who are very restrictive ( it all starts there) but I come from a large city in Europe where many classmates in one or my schools were rich, white with two working parents and they were not lining up for technical / IT professions. Science yes, but healthcare. A lot of it comes down to choice.
One 🌹 for Emarlad and one 🌹 for jade .. blessings for both of you.
You guys are like Heckel & Jeckel and I love it.
I see the halo you mentioned but it's not large enough to cover that fiery red hair. It's always interesting to see the two of you together. You're so much alike and soooooo different. lol Take care.
"See this halo?" That cracked me up 😂 Funny edits. I liked them.

Удивительно. У девушки с глубинки такая хорошо поставленная речь. Намного лучше, чем у многих людей с больших американских городов. Рекомендовал многим людям Ваш канал как образец американского варианта британского языка
loved the Q&A thanks!!
Love your shirt Emerald!!
Question; where do you get your timber. I live in a forest in tennessee and have to pay to have trees removed. I can't give them away, red and white oak, maple and pine.
suggestion for a new piece of equipment...conveyer to transfer sawdust to the trailer. might take some rearranging, and would deprive of that valuable shoveling exercise :)
Great episode Ladies . !
Beautiful is... A cool breeze and a sunny day 🌞
Groovy, chicks... Keep on keeping on. Peace on earth.
I would never have guessed you two are 5-10 as you are both very well proportioned and graceful.
Love the Q&A 📹❤️☕️👍😉
I love this channel above all rest it's more entertaining relaxing to watch it's just cool
I have often wondered if you keep a record of how much board footage you cut each day. Great video ladies thank you. 👍♥️♥️
Coffee and sawdust👍
Great video and I love the background!
Your videos are always great ❤❤
With summer coming up and if Roxy is good with wearing a camera, could have video shorts, Adventures of Judah and Roxy at the Log Yard. 😇
Good answer Jade. You’re right a feller buncher. Would be a really. Good piece of equipment. Em. What if I told you that😂 up here in Canada there mills they cut more than 100,”000 fbm per day and they would consider an 11” log a big log. They are required to mill logs down to a 5” top.
That was fun. Good job!
Young ladies, do NOT go to college, money wasted, keep learning in the real life and you’ll be golden later in life, trust me on this one
A Feller Buncher that looks like that in our area is called a hot saw. It’s made for mostly clear cutting. There is another machine that looks similar with a different head that is called a Processor. It used for clear cutting and select cutting and it fells the tree, removes branches and cuts the logs to length. Mostly for short wood but also can cut random lengths. Neither machine is great with steep hills.
Great video Girls, as always All of the Edge Timber/Lumber can’t you cut it into log length and sell it for cheap firewood for those people on a reduced income. Even if it’s softwood. All the best 🇬🇧
Means a lot to this stranger that you didn't jump on the current bandwaggon as some of the other commenters did, of denegrating the first person who paid the compliment about your family being "good looking". You're right; it's not creepy. The commenter kept it clean, and it's nice to see people just take a nice compliment. It may seem on it's surface like an odd observation for me to make, but too many people today don't know how to take a compliment (albeit from awkward people sometimes) and are looking for ways to be a victim, even at the expense of other good people. I respect you more for it.
I love your channel thanks again ❤
