Michael Wood, what a wonderful, wonderful intelligent and generous man. I have been watching ( or own ) most of his tv series produced over the years ( I am in my 70`s ) from ' Beowulf ' Troy, History of Shakespeare to name a few, and just recently, his ' History of England ' through one English village ' Kibworth ' and it`s association with my old college, Merton College Oxford. When talking history with younger students, apart from a range of books, I suggest they watch Michael Wood ! Apart fro being Prof of Public History, he should be made a ' Living Treasure ' he is truly extraordinary, thank you for posting this interview :)

If there is one person I would like to have a conversation with, it is Mr. Wood.

Great video. Shame I missed the live session as I would have sent in a question. I interviewed Michael earlier this year for a magazine - Suffolk and Norfolk Life.
