All the examples of the DJI AGRAS setups I see online look something like this: create a field definition in the form of a polygon, import it to the AGRAS remote controller, optionally create a prescription map for variable rate application and import it to the controller. Based on that the controller creates a flight path that evenly covers the field polygon and the prescription map helps to control how much spraying is being done "zig-zags" over the field. But would it be possible to create a flight plan that looks something like this: go point A directly do the spraying at point A, go to point B from A directly do the spraying at B, go to C directly etc. import it to the controller and command the drone to execute it? If not, I guess, it could kinda be simulated by making a very narrow virtual field section between A and B, a very narrow field section between B and C, a section between C and etc. Then using a prescription map marking a no-spray area that is almost the length of A-B section, so only spraying part is a small area around A and a small area around B, repeat for B-C, C-etc. sections. Such field and no spray areas will be generated automatically by a 3rd party software for the given A,B,C etc. points, so no need to draw those virtual fields and prescription maps by hand. Does that sound reasonable/doable to anyone, or maybe someone tried something like that? Also is there an AGRAS drone simulator to test such corner cases missions to check if the drone could potentially execute them well without buying an expensive drone upfront? (I know that AGRAS drone are not supported by Mobile, Payload, Onboards SDKs, so the custom software running on the remote controller or drone itself wouldn't work easily.)

Only affects government property, it is irrelevant for most people unless trying to do government contracts.

@@ryanankrom4768 I was taking about bill HR2864 from www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/2864?s=1&r=44 that wants to revoke DJI's FCC authorization. This would ground all DJI aircraft. Here's the summary of the bill from Congress's website. This bill requires the inclusion of telecommunications and video surveillance equipment or services produced or provided by Shenzhen Da-Jiang Innovations Sciences and Technologies Company Limited (a Chinese drone maker commonly known as DJI Technologies) on a list of communications equipment or services determined by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to pose an unacceptable risk to U.S. national security. Current law prohibits the use of federal funding available through specified FCC programs for purchasing or maintaining listed equipment or services.
