The multi-instrumentalist frontman of Winnipeg's Figure Walking has been releasing records for almost a quarter century and has been longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize multiple times. "Vertical/Horizontal" is the sophomore album from Figure Walking-which also includes drummer Rob Gardiner (Conduct, Pip Skid)-and like its predecessor, 2017's "The Big Other," it was released on MacPherson's Disintegration label.
