I'm sure that depends on a lot of things. My wife and I went to Canada for a few days after Christmas and I'd say both the Canada agent and US agent were about the same. I've seen other videos on here where one side or the other were somewhat awful experiences. Each situation is different. That being said, the lady on the Canada side in this video did seem rather pleasant.

Hi - would you know if entering Canada from the USA is allowed via land border crossing and have study/permits processed at this time? If so, which land border crossing coming from NYC and heading to New Brunswick? Thanks and more power to your channel.

The rudest border guards I’ve ever dealt with was coming from Detroit, Michigan to Windsor, Ontario. The female Canadians were very Gestapo-like.

I'm driving from US to Canada towards the end of June so wondering if anyone here might know: Is it legal to cross the US-Canada border in someone else's car, like a parent's car for example? Would I need to show some kind of proof that I have permission to drive the vehicle? If someone who knows could answer I'd appreciate it!

  • @aynako1538

I see no one responded in time for your trip, but wondering if you had any issues. I'm assuming some of those cameras at the border entry gate capture your license plate and allow the agent to have registration details about the car. If your ID didn't match the name on the registration I assume they would question you about it (whether it is a rental car, or you are borrowing someone else's car).

@@aynako1538 hi. So as far as crossing from USA into Canada, no issue whatsoever. The border agent didn't even ask, even though I had permission forms signed by my mom on hand just in case. Going back into the U.S. after my trip, the U.S. border agent did ask, but when I told him it's my mom's car he was basically like "ah ok" and then moved on from there lol. Would have gladly showed the permission forms to him, but he didn't ask for any.
