Between 9AM to 5PM apprx 4 hr on avg from mon to friday

Bhaiya i am interested in business and management and more interested towardsknowing about big shots of words.instead of watching tv and series i used to learn the business tactics of every successful entrepreneur .i need to study in iit that too in top 7 iit.that too bombay whether it is wiser to choose bs eco if i am idea of doing startup or mba in foreign.and pls tell the placement of eco in iit.whether i can choose bs eco bhaiya whether it is right choice and i am also interested in maths.

Hey bhaiya IITs mein Mtech Cse ke placements ke kaise haal hain?? matlab kya kisi top IIT se cse mein mtech karna worth it (only purpose is placement)?

Bhaiya ye batao jaise bs in economics and maths & computing to acchi branches hai to kya aese hi bs in earth sciences(iitkanpur), exploration geophysics , applied geology(iitroorkee) liya jaa sakta hai? Kya tech placement me baithne milega ? Branch bhi change kr skte h kya

Eligibility of IIT BS in Economics

i needed some counselling help plz regarding prospects of Eco at Roorkee rn as its a pretty new batch so are there opportunities for good internships or placements from top companies like Goldman sachhs, Mckinsey , RBI or any hft firm?... I am very interested in eco but then my primary aim is to grab a great package soon so as to improve conditions of my family. Bombay has great stats but then its been a decade since it has the branch so would there be a high diff if I take roorkee as in the opportunity diff at roorkee and bombay?.. I don't want to gamble at this

How does opportunities differ at diff IITs?..also would the curriculum also differ ?... coz I saw at Bombay its more into maths while in roorkee its highly theoretical from 2nd yrs

Can you guys connect to an old alumni of IITK Bs Eco to ask his opinion on Bs Eco being confused with BSc in Universities , cuz he might tell actual on ground reality and acc to you what pref order should be there for these choices? What you choose?

Bhaiya is it worth to take eco in kanpur over bhu ece as I have pure interest in tech only...will it be a stupidity to choose non circuital branch when I am getting one in a good IIT

Yes if you are interested in tech onlu then you should prefer IIT Bhu ECE

Bhaiya now i am thinking of eco at iitR bcoz i have strong inclination towards machine learning since my 11 and you said that ML is included in eco

Courses specific to ML are not there but some courses help in ML ,You can look into the syllabus

iit kanpur economics vs iit delhi chemical vs iit bhu electrical engineering. I LIVE IN DELHI(PARENT PRESSURE FOR IITD) AND INCLINED MORE TOWARDS JOB THEN FURTHER STUDIES.

Yes. A majority of the selection process depends on your resume and interview skills. Only a few companies choose to not be open for economics students.
