Love the beach walks, my doctor said I should continue to watch the shelling videos, that would be good for reducing my stress level. So thank you for your help.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED FINALLY SEEING SHARMON!!! Her and I have messaged back and fourth a few times. She is absolutely the COOLEST!!! I will be moving to Florida in the future and am hoping to finally meet her and hoping to go shelling with her. I like how she has her own kayak and goes from island to island. She is so cool. Watch her every Sunday, and will continue. I will be subscribing to this channel now.

Oh my gosh! My mom and I had an intense move across the country and we were exhausted from the preparations and all the activity of it. I cannot describe how wonderful and relaxing and restorative watching Sharmon’s videos was for us. So many nights of watching to just relax and remember and dream…just before closing our eyes. I’m so thankful you had her on and celebrated someone who can turn dreary and exhausting into dreamy and exciting and bring smiles to so many at one time! We have a wonderful lake nearby that my mom can get into and “water walk,” and we now jokingly say, “Let’s go to the beach,” even though it isn’t nearly as exciting as our old stomping grounds of the Gulf. But it’s amazing what she’s brought to so many lives as she pursues and shares her passion for the sunshine and critters and shells of Florida.

I’m so happy I got to see you, Sharmon! Now I’ll be able to picture you as we shell together every Sunday! ❤️🐚

I have been watching your videos for ages and appreciate the enthusiasm and information you provide about beaches and shelling. We're on our way to Florida for the winter and although I'm staying on the east coast I intend to explore beaches wherever we go. I'm a new subscriber and I had originally found you during the height of the pandemic in 2020, but spent a lot of time going down the rabbit hole of the internet and lost track of you. Then last week I clicked on the video where you found the giant shell and heard your voice and said, " this is the woman with the mesmerizing voice". Truly, the way you describe the shells and the calmness of your voice is wonderful. During the dead of winter here in NYC, I love hearing and seeing the beach with you.

No Way!! Found this by accident I have watched all your videos!! I have learned so much from you I started going to Captiva last year and have been there 3 times since and going back again in January 2023 I have fallen in love with shelling in Southwest Florida. Maybe I will run into you on the beach

Hi. I love seeing you. I am in St Petersburg right now. I have found some great shells at Pass-a-Grille beach. I found a small banded tulip, a small lightning well and a spiny jewel box. I found some lovely fighting conchs too. I did find a small orange spiral shell I do not know what it is.

So bummed I missed the live. Great to put a face with the voice. Thank you.

The Seaside NJ area was where I first fell in love with shells, but it was at a little shell store! My parents gave me money so I could walk down the road to the shell store, and I loved picking out some shells. After that my parents gave me shells for gifts. Now I go to the beach here in Florida and pick up whatever I can find. Sharmon's videos help me learn the names of the common shells I pick up..

Fun comment ! I got a few shells at Bagnell Dam in Missouri. We knew they couldn't be local. I was smitten. My folks tried to find shells for gifts. Back in the 60's, we didn't even have a phone. I saw the ocean once at NC. My little collection was stolen around the time we moved. Even stole my book. I love them and share them ( that we found in thrift stores since) in Bible School with kids

I'm shocked at the cost to park where Shannon goes. I live on the Treasure Coast. I've yet to beach comb where I've had to pay to park. They're all free. Love this channel!

I was so tickled to find this video because now I have a beautiful fece to put with the voice that has taught me so much!! I have loved shelling for probably 45 years. I started picking them up at about 5. I feel your passion and living in East Tennessee, I walk those beaches with you every week. My husband's family lives in Plant City and we got married near Indian Shores. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your work. I wish I knew of a QUALITY website or app that could help people like me identify shells. 🐚🧡👍🏼👏🏼

Thanks for featuring Sharmon and SWF Beach Life. Her videos have brought peace and the beauty of the beach into my living room. I’m living in Michigan and winter is approaching quickly. We have beautiful beaches but no shells. When it is dark, cold and gloomy I’ll go to these videos time and again to remind me what is coming after we get through the cold months. Also you are a great ambassador for Florida. We are planning a shelling and beach combing trip to Florida next year. Many thanks!

Do you have to dive to shell in the keys?

Have you ever gotten stung or hurt while shelling ?

When you're filming while you are shelling, do you use your phone or a camera? Also, do you hold it in one hand and shell with the other hand, or do you have a hands-free camera? 😊
