As a full time working mom, I just want to say I really appreciate the way you approach the topic of joining the workforce vs. being a homemaker. So many times there is an undertone of disgust for women who work and you don’t come off that way at all! I have so much respect and appreciation for that. We all have different callings and passions and I love the way you speak so confidently about yours without disparaging women who choose differently. ❤️

You are the most refreshing to watch! Oh my goodness. KZread has changed SO much, but you bring it back to what it felt like in the beginning 🖤

Thank you for addressing being a homemaker when your kids start school! Its a beautiful thing to be able to do and your goals sound amazing for you! You are definitely a breath of fresh air! Also, being a Bsahm/w is as much part of being our ancestors wildest dream as seeing black women running companies. Its about what works for you and your family unit and positively uplifting the community around you.

@@KristaBowmanRuth My mother was/is a Homemaker and Housewife most of my life and so was my grandmother on my father’s side. It comes natural to me because I was raised this way. I never knew that one day this life would be my own but I am truly blessed and grateful it is. Like you said, “ It’s sooo rewarding.”🩷✝️

I get asked a lot too, “what are you going to do now?!” My oldest is 8 and my youngest is 5 and will be starting full day kindergarten. She was also in preschool only 3 days a week so I was still needed constantly! At this point I will still be staying home because it works for our family! My husband has very erratic hours and if I worked, most of my income would likely go to before care and after care. I refuse to do that to my kids! I am blessed to stay home, I know this. But we are also good with our money and this was always the plan. The women that asked me “what I’m going to do”….I pick up their kids if needed on half days!!!! So very rude for them to inquire when I’ve done my share of helping them. Love your channel! ❤️

I just have my 1 year old now. I would love to see your cooking though and how you maintain being so healthy. Struggle bus over here. Enjoyed the vlog!

I’m never bored most of the time as a Housewife but these are my hobbies: I volunteer at my church, take piano and voice lessons once a week, Bible study once a week, have tea parties with my other Homemaker and Housewife friends, sometimes I crotchet, workout, and go shopping. I’m not busy everyday but I am generally about 3-4 times a week. It’s good to have balance and you still need some downtime to take care of yourself. Hopefully this might help you with finding some new hobbies or tapping into some old passions and talents.🩷

I can definitely show more of that. I'm not great at cooking, but being a mom that cooked is a memory I want my kids to have lol. Also, for little projects that need to be done around the house, to keep from being bored: reorganize everyone's closets. Print and organize your photos and put them into photo albums or scrapbooks. Create memory boxes for each kid and sort through all their things. Make flower arrangements real or fake for everyone's bedside tables etc. Those can be fun and fill up your day! I have more ideas if you need them!

I am so happy that you’re back to uploading. Do you do your nails yourself or go to a salon? Do you plan on having more children?

Thank you!! At the moment, I do my own nails, because it's harder to get to the salon with the kids home for the summer. I wear press ons and polish my own toes. It also saves a ton of $$$🙌🏾 And I don't have any plans to birth more babies, but my heart is open to adopting.
