Kim, a long time watcher here… you don’t owe anyone a response about your sister. In practically every dang video, you make a reference of your amazing sister. Those of us who watch you, know the references and tear up with you. Keep being you. Take the trip. Live the life. Look out for those cardinals ❤

Oh the tears listening to you talk about Tina. Losing someone you love never gets easy. Life continues but with a big hole in your heart. I have been rewatching your older videos and just got to the one where you explained that she was sick and you were shopping for things to make her hospital stay more comfortable. Broke my heart watching because I knew the pain you’d soon be facing. I pray daily for your family, and those that loved Tina, even tho I don’t know you in “real life”. Remembering how she was there with the children when you went into labor with the next, and how she had passed before Wolfgang, heart breaking 💔

I love your energy, attitude, loving demeanor & positive parenting style, and the fact that you realize and acknowledge that time is fleeting. Your comment about carrying two kids and all the things and passing the two older ladies on the beach, really hit home! I did the best I could during the child rearing years, and wish I had taken more moments to savor the chaos of those days. Now a new grandma to a very sweet & oh so energetic little boy, I am doing better at soaking it in. You are a huge ray of sunshine & happy in my life & I feel so blessed to be able to watch you grow with the family. It constantly amazes me, just how insensitive some people can be. Grief is subjective most of the time and crying eventually eases off to the occasional bout. I lost a sister, way to young and it's one of the hardest things. I still find myself simply imagining that she's at home and I could pop round for a cuppa. I'll hear a song or a smell a smell and grief floods in. Some people assume, just because you have a KZread channel, that they are privy to your deepest feelings, and you should 'show' your grief to them! It's madness and definitely at the top of my 'pet peeves'. Grief comes in waves, sometimes you can stay afloat but sometimes you drown in it and it's very personal. You can ask how someone is but you can never comment on how or when they grieve. ❤❤

I lost my brother and he was the closest person to me in the family I was born into. It’s been 12 years and I hurt still, I miss him so much it’s unreal. People don’t understand that you HAVE to keep going. It doesn’t mean my brother wasn’t important or isn’t missed, it means my life can’t end. I have been given more years than he had and that is a blessing.

Thanks for spending the morning with me!! You’re my favorite KZreadr/mom influencer. You stay relatable and humble. I love that you have the house of your dreams. Your priority is your children and home and you love Jesus!! You don’t know me but you make me feel like I have a friend in my lonely stay at home mom days!! Thanks for that!

I love your perspective in regards to ‘just wait’ for positive things. I have a 10 month old and so many people say things like ohhh just wait til this or that, implying negative or hard times. I know it’s gonna be hard, I’m just trying to focus on the good here!! Thank you for your content!

I lost my dad in 92 my mom in 93 and my only sister in 1996 she was killed in a car accident with her husband. She was 14 years older than me and she was my backbone, best friend and my super hero. I miss them all but losing my sister has been a difficult experience that is forever heartbreaking. I really enjoyed your Q&A Kim and thank you for being a friend. ❤️

YES there are always challenges with teens. Now my 2 kids are adults with children of their own. We do have days even as adults that I roll my eyes at my husband lololol. It does get easier I now am helping watch my great nieces and nephews so I feel pooped yet yay I can go home and not have to watch them anymore 🤪Until needed again :) Also love cardinals they are a sign of loved ones who have passed.

Long time viewer, first time commenter… regarding the comments about how things change when kids become teenagers… I’ve raised two kids (now 20 and 17) and I feel fortunate to say that no it doesn’t necessarily get difficult during those teenage years. As the saying goes, you are who you surround yourself with. This applies to both family and friends. If you make the effort to get to know your kid’s friends and their families and you ensure those are like minded people to your circle, the teenage years are amazing. It’s a blessing to watch kids become amazing teenagers and young adults. You’re doing a great job in raising your kiddos and I look forward to being able to see your kids grow through their teenage years!
