This was my mom’s advice to me before I got married. And I would add like the Bible says , Don’t let the sun go down on your anger. We live this. Even between kids and parents. Never go to bed without resolving conflicts. Keeps you in better health too.

U r so right…. Uncle and aunty ji…. 8 years I went to my in laws for support. They came stayed with us time to time and bitched about me to my husband…. Now after having a child they shouted abusive words at my parents despite staying at my parents house…completely base less… I finally raised my voice and I was physically beaten up… Firstly I didn’t even understand why was I being punished when they were being obnoxiously unreasonable Secondly my parents said in certain communities they will oust u and get you separated… I didn’t understand why my parents didn’t support me. I’m so full of this resentment that I have to continue my life with these people ( my husband has changed does agree that things were unreasonably dealt with) I have left my job … it’s been a year and half …. All the toxic people continue to live and am unemployed sitting at home unable to take a step forward….
