    I didn't like how the cameraman kept focusing on the young man with dreads when the question about how one should wear their hair was asked. You don't have to put people in the spot light. Oh and he looked very well put together. I don't think his hairstyle was outrageous. (imo)

    But you shouldn't let people get you far from God and his word. What the pastor said is something you would have decoded yourself and be the one correcting others, not to give up on the word because you didn't like what another individual said. But it's good he explained it well

    I do perceive that brother and Pastor Skeete was being a bit diplomatic in his response regarding the drums/music. Though it is true that God convicts individuals at different points in their Christian journey, it is for those who have had the maturity and experience with God to teach those who are living in error, to observe all things which Christ has commanded us to observe. I do not usually have an issue with brother Skeets responses but this one was taken out of context and was not addressed properly. Sister White clearly states that at the *_"close of probation"_* by which music is demarcated by the loudness and manner in which the instruments are being played, gives strong evidence about where we are in reference to the timeline concerning eternity. So we clearly see and hear the identifying marks written by the pen of the prophetess concerning this very topic, given by the Spirit of Truth to warn God's people of an error, how can we then downplay the significance of the signs and counsels comcerning those who are partaking of this obvious abomination? Had it not only been an issue but also an abomination, why would there be given an identifying mark about the close of probation where musick, specifically, is mentioned? It is something for us to deeply consider and prayerfully ask God for complete clarity on. It is not as light a matter as some, or most, are making it out to seem.

    @@sambulelongwenyama9563 I read Southern Work. After that book came out many Black people left the church. There are things EGW said that have me scratching my head. Please find that book and read it. I will not tolerate excuses for some of the things written in that book. After all, she was human. God was angry with Moses once or twice for things that came out of his mouth. David was a man after God's Heart but did vile things, these too, were humans.

    @@camilleanselm7788 They’re SDAs, or were raised as SDAs. They just don’t have the traditional look anymore. Have you seen the Oakwood University Church pews lately? You send your kids there and the next thing you know is, there’s jewelry everywhere. They’re so bold now that the choir members/Praise Team members wear them on the podium. I have also noticed many who may be Professors decked out when they are not in the Praise Cafe or participating in podium activities. Salvation is an individual path; we must look to Jesus, and Jesus only. We need to study the Bible, read microscopically and ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Ted Wilson has a KZread message about the current situation in our churches. Are the musicians Adventist? I don’t know, let God be their Judge. However my prayer is that we all keep striving towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. The matter of jewelry has been a topic of discussion for eons in our church. I am ambivalent and understand Isaiah 3:16-24 and Timothy on clothing and accessories differently as I don’t pick out what I want from those Scriptures to make my point on whether jewelry is salvific or not. I love the old fashioned clean look of SDAs for which we are known and keep in mind that every time the children of Israel needed to recommit themselves, the jewelry had to be taken off…

    There is an option for subtitles on KZread itself. if you click on the gear with the label 'Settings', the option that is the fourth from the top is 'Subtitles/CC'. If you click on it, you will see an option to turn off subtitles, and an option called 'Auto-Translate'. Select 'Auto-Translate' and select Tamil as the language you want. It should then display Tamil subtitles. Alternatively, you can click the description, then click on 'Show Transcript'. You can copy the transcript and translate it manually via Google translate or an AI.

    Pastor Skeet always refers to the Bible. His duty as a pastor is to teach God's people the word of God. For things not specifically referenced in the Bible I believe he restrain himself yes because he understands people are at different stages of conversion and so will not do the work of the holy spirit-which is to convict the heart. He will give wise councils if that specific question is not addressed in the Bible. The thing is people want to hear a "yes" or "no" to satisfy the conscience, to quote that a pastor said it or justify the action of someone else. But let the spirit do his work...he's a man of "thus saith the Lord" God bless🎉

    Question: Is it to the glory of God to read off the many / laundry list of worldly accomplishments of the pastors/speakers before they present the words of “God” each Sabbath? Where did this practice originate from?

  • @robertcochran8876

    @robertcochran8876

    23 күн бұрын

    This is a great observation/question. It has always bothered me that this practice is the opposite of the humility that Jesus demonstrated. I don’t need to know or care to know about any of their accomplishments, because it’s not about them. I would be so much more impressed by a Pastor who prohibited the person making the introduction from saying anything other than “Pastor so and so loves Jesus”. That visiting pastor is obviously the one that wrote the flowery biography and gave it because that is what they wanted shared. That is the opposite of humility.

    I'd like context on the EGW reference at 28:00-29:05. Is Elder Skeete talking about people in general or babies specifically? We know that the Holy Spirit writes the law on the hearts of all who choose to accept its principles. This includes young ones, although not necessarily babies. I have not heard that God would leave a certain group of people in the grave and not resurrect them for judgment. Every eye shall see him. Every eye in the universe according to scriptures. Every eye shall bear witness to God's justice. I can't see that anyone would be excluded from that, although in the case of babies, I can sympathize with the sentiment that that might be the case. If the EGW reference could be expounded on in context, I'd be much appreciated.

  • @sovereignhero9496

    @sovereignhero9496

    16 күн бұрын

    @ndumisoduma1240 This is based on the understanding of what various text have informed us of, regarding the history of what happened before the creation of the world and what is to happen after the judgment. It is the same understanding that tells us that the angel of the Lord many times in scripture, refers to a pre-incarnate Christ. The Word talks about the unfallen worlds and Revelation talks about how all manner of heavenly creatures will proclaim how they are redeemed from the earth. When we understand that Lucifer's plot affected the entire universe, we understand that the unfallen worlds that make up the universe have a stake in our salvation. The heavenly council, which is made up of the sons of God who govern the unfallen worlds, delineated a few times in scripture concerning earthly matters. Sin entered into the universe before the creation of the earth and the judgement of Lucifer and the fallen angels also occured before creation. It was in heaven that Lucifer sought to destroy God's law and tarnish the name of The Creator. God has allowed Satan to altogether reveal himself so that there could be no doubt that God is just. Everyone is affected by sin and at it's conclusion, everyone will witness the justice of God.

Truth & law must be backed up by truth & law... As it is written in Isaiah 28:10 precept much be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Worshipping must be done every day. The issue is: keeping the Sabbath holy as commanded after 6 days of creation: "8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. KJV - Exodus 20:8-11" And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. KJV - 1John 2:3 -6

    Take up your issue with God regarding the Sabbath. If you DESIRE to be disobedient that is your choice. But if you want to obey that is your choice too. In Jesus name. Amen.

    58:06 You shouldn't fall in love inside of the church too. There's absolutely no difference between adventist men and women and the world! As a matter of fact, I find more sincere and godly people outside of the adventist church.

    On the question of whether christian women should wear pants or not, in addition to what the bible already stated my answer is: "BROKEN WINDOW THEORY" ...look at what's happening in the church today..they have switched from wearing soft pants to wearing jeans. "To obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of lambs" saith the Lord

    I respectfully disagree with having someone to work the emotions in rhythm lift hands in worship in babel , when God stated for for His people to come out of her (Sunday church). Getting paid to make people emotional and move to the beat, is just to get paid, there is no teaching there. Only the Holy Spirit can move the people out of Babylon.

    Adventists are really great at making adultery as the only grounds for divorce based on Mark 10:11-12 disregarding everything else the Bible says about divorce. Exodus 21:10-11 clearly states a woman can go free if a man fails to provide three things, food, clothing, and marital rights. Read 1 Corinthians 7. Emotional and physical neglect are also acceptable reasons for divorce.

The determines his sermon noting he didn't charge them for holding the services for them. Thus that was NOT A GOOD EXAMPLE. I don't think GOD WAS ON THE RESPONSE

    48:26 We can see the persons on this church are very judgmental. Instead of praying for this young man that God help him made the right decision for his haircut, they exposed him, even the guy who filmed. This is disgusting. This church are part of the people who exposed but none of them edified and elevate. I will not be surprised that this young man does not go to church after this. Shame on you.

    We should worship everyday. We are to worship everyday. There is no enabling. Worship is not for Sabbath only. It is an everyday thing. If Sabbath keeper can get pass first day worshipping as wrong and embrace everyday worship, everyday worship as a part of God's plan of salvation. For me there is nothing wrong with first day worship why then do Sabbath keeper go to Sunday night (which is is Biblical Monday) service. Stop pray and ask for enlightening of these people minds.

    We are to worship everyday, but not all days of the week is holy. It is only the seventh day which is holy. You can worship from Sunday to Friday but it is not a holy day. Only Saturday is holy day because it is the seventh day which the Lord blessed. Read exodus 20:8-11.
