As an amateur mycologist / mushroom hunter I am always enchanted by the fact that trees communicate with each other using the mycelium of mushrooms. Kind of like the "web of the internet" The forest truly does have a life of it's own 💚🌲🍄

The place reminds me of at the end of the Lord of the rings when Frodo was saying goodbye to Samwise and he was blessing Samwise with his own Hobbit wife and children. Samwise was a deeply wise friend. He gave his all to help Frodo accomplish his task.❤

Across the street is a woods on my South side with a creek running through it. The sun rises into my kitchen window and sets outside my screen porch. We have lots of trees in our yard and robins, cardinals, wrens, woodpeckers, morning doves, orioles, chickadees, and occasionally an owl.

I'm just grateful I stumbled upon your videos. I'll support you all I can and I'll watch all your videos you put out. Your fun, inspirational, you're very serene, so warm and cozy. Your videos are very soothing to watch.There are very few things that calm me and believe me when I say, I suffer with a lot of stress, anxiety and depression. There's only one other person here on youtube other than you that lifts my spirit and calms me and it's, Olivia's Romantic Home. She does the DIY thing also. Indigenous peoples of the Americas think the way you do, nature are our relatives and we reverend the land and animals and cycles of the seasons,we offer prayers for its healing and for others to be better caretakers of the gifts we’ve been given by grandfather. I’m lucky enough to have an enchanted forest ( we call our park) and when in it you really do appreciate all the magical moving ways, it fills your heart with love and refreshing thankfulness our mother gave us. I have many fairy gardens, some out in my woods, in my garden, in any planters and plants inside. I have many crystals that refresh me also amethyst and rose quartz are my favorites. I so enjoy your videos! I am a complete nature lover and can so relate to so much of your content. Your videos inspired me to make an altar of sorts in my living room using a twiggy gothic style trellis, and on a table beneath it, I have my own little Believe It or Not style "museum" of oddities and curiosities in layers and it turned out so awesome. Much of it is of nature, and some things not, but all wonderfully interesting and some very unusual and great conversation starters. Creativity is a gift! Oh yes such a lovely book - the facts are just simply amazing aren't they?! Oh yes i have been so many times before but due to travel restrictions we have been unable there! I love burley and ornamental drive so much! Do you live far from the forest? And thankyou so much - yes i believe what you are saying 100% and someone once said to me last year when i was going through a hard time - sometimes its simply changing our perspective and view point of the world, and suddenly it wont seem so bad anymore

Wonderful to hear you weren't into nature much until your early 20's. Sometimes I question what I see myself as since I wasn't always drawn to aspects of it, but we all awaken to our soul's calling at different times and it makes it no less valid if it comes later. :) I LOVE the Hidden Life of Trees! It's such astonishing science that everyone must know. OMG, I have that tarot too! I'm obsessed with cats and was very drawn to it. I, too, cry when I express thanks, especially to the outdoors. My daughter said that I taught her how to talk to trees in a past life (on another planet). And I have been a Druid in a past life. Your newly found wondrous place in the forest reminded me at first of Rivendell. All the spiral branches and ivy was like the archways there. But when you focused on the moss and lushness (and more spirals of vines) I thought this must be what Lothlorien looks like and you are Lady Arwen. Many Blessings on your path!

When you land in your permanent home/ or purchase one... consider creating on a small scale, a version of your majical thicket. It may take a few years and a few consultations with master garders. I could actually see in my mind's eye, the perfect secret urban garden for you. As far as bringing the energy in side...use color and texture. Hand woven throws in earth colors, craft moss on your altar or around photos and art work, earthy scents of wood, tobacco, pine, found natural objects. I have no doubt about your ability to create beauty that brings you comfort.

Me again lol...some other things we have in common are I too am Aquarius, hematite is my favorite, I always need a window with a tree line outside to look out on and meditate, I love all music, write my own and am a singer, I too dance to get my positive energy flowing, do crafting things and believe in ghosts and got messages from my Grandparents! I can't wait to watch more videos, please keep making them! 🌞❤✌

I have just found your channel and been digging watching your videos. Your absolutely stunning and seems we have a lot in common. I, just a few years ago, found out it wasn't normal for evwryone to talk to and feel trees... who knew lol. Ive always been drawn to nature and rocks which i gathered with my papaw who's death date was also Dec 17. My birthday is also February but I'm a pisces,, cancer lol! Thank you for sharing and inviting us to your uniqueness. Bless your beautiful being!

Good gracious Alwyn. I share many similar experiences as you have. It’s obvious great minds think alike and I to have vividly seen my mum’s ghost. And the New Forest is indeed a beautiful place. And somewhere to draw your artistic expression from let alone anything else. And music… Good for bopping to and good for sobbing to depending on one’s mood. I wish you well with gifts of light.

This was wonderful! I am a mom to 24 year old Aquarian musician! (Early Music voice and violin). Of course! I loved this Q and A and also was in my own fairy/witchy world for most of my life. I was also a school art teacher, so I understand the broom closet. You are so genuine and imaginative; you inspire me! Also, the new place in your forest reminds me of A Fairy Bridal Bower. 🧚‍♀️🧚🌷

Oh thats so cool!! Me and your daughter have a LOT in common!!! Seems like she got her artistic side from you though!! I had an art teacher that i will always look up to, she was almost like Professor Trelawney, very long scarfs and just went with the flow and self expression! Although as I mentioned in the video - i also had another art teacher that if she didn't like something - i'd know about it! Oh my gosh yes!! I am picturing the scene now - i love it so much!! I'd say that part of the forest was some kind of Lost Woods but you found it, Lucky! That viney twisty wood is enchanting.🌳🍃

The enchanted wood you live near reminds me of a beautiful film I saw many years ago called Legend it stars Mia Sara it's about the fae folk & mythical beings I think you would love it .🌲🌿⚘
