What you said is all true. I'm a new mom too. My baby is 9 months now. I also went through the same struggle as you went through. I understand how we feel when others comment about our babies when we know whatever we are doing is for their own goodness. Since my baby was born until now there are people who always criticize how I bring up my baby, I'm not giving solid food properly, and more things. Your milk is just like a snack for your baby. They will judge us like whatever we do is not right. They think that the way they brought their kids is the right way and ours is wrong. My only answer to them is this is my baby, I'm the mother here, I know what to do. Don't try to be a mother to my child. All I need is my baby to be healthy not for others to comment and tell me my baby is chubby. I don't need that kind of comment. A healthy baby is more than enough than being cute or chubby. I feel that people like to bully new mothers because they are the most vulnerable person who can manipulate easily. Happy to see Vaan.

Babies will learn to drink from open cups themselves once you start offering. When water touches their mouth they start sucking. Initially they might cough which is very normal but will learn eventually
