I too was a stay at home mom when I had my children. I think it’s the most important job we’ll ever have. I listened to your Q and A while I did my daily walk and really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing.

Living with the hair God gave me… This struck a chord. I’ve been on the fence about whether or not to stop highlighting my hair. Years ago I quit getting perms and I told myself I needed to learn to live with the hair God gave me. I’m no longer on the fence. Here I go!

Thank you Amy! No - I have not always been calm and gentle - and I am still not always now. It is a constant battle to overcome my selfish feelings. When we allow ourselves to be angry and lose our temper, it is a result of feeling wronged in some (selfish) way. My goal is to respond rather than react and I am making progress, but am not at all perfect! 💛😊 💛

i love that you’re letting your hair go natural! my mom died at 38 and it really impressed upon me how fleeting our physical time on earth really is. when i approached my mid-30s i decided to stop processing my hair (i have long, dark, curly hair) and embrace the grays as they started appearing. now, anytime someone comments negatively on my grays (i currently have a cruella de ville look going), i just tell them that “growing old is a privilege that not all will experience” and move on with my day! :)

I whole heartedly agree being a wife and Mother is a fantastic job. It benefits your family and the best thing I remember about my childhood is my Mom was always there . She was up with us for school there at lunch time and dinner in the evening. I thank God every night that I was bless to have 2 wonderful parents. The world is sadly missing the family structure which is almost nonexistent. Blessing

Being a homemaker is an awesome task. I have done both and I think being a homemaker is probably the hardest, especially when your children are not in school.

I let my hair go several years ago. It became a chore and a financial drain. I love the fact that I don't have to do anything. God gave us our hair color. I had to come to that conclusion. You go for what you want to do. I'm a Texan too. North East Texas.

My husband and I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary this year and so have decided to re-new our vows, they have certainly been tested over the last few years but we have remained strong in our love and faith together xx

I absolutely love your channel and I love the products that you share. It's so helpful to me. I am from the east coast as well and living in Arkansas where I minister to single moms. My husband is now retired from 28 years of police. Our work intertwined and we loved it. But we are in a new place in our lives. We bought a farm in the Ozark mountains. Middle aged farmers. We are starting a KZread channel and I'm scared. Not going to lie. But we want to share with others that we can do this no matter our age. I've also stop coloring my hair. I'm about to do the cut soon too. Well anyways I said enough but...we are hikers too and portion control is a must!

Thank you for sharing so much about yourself and your family. I've been following you for a couple of months and I feel like I got to know you much better through this video. I would love to see more Q&A's on any of the topics you covered here! I was happy to hear your parenting advice. My kids always had age appropriate chores as well, and I got a lot of derogatory remarks from people over the years which I always found surprising. But as they got older I got to enjoy how those same people marveled at how self sufficient and responsible my kids were compared to theirs! My kids never got an "allowance" for pitching in around the house. They were taught that doing so was part of being a family. As a single mom I couldn't afford many extras and the little ways that they were able to help around the house made it possible for us to spend more time doing fun things together. You gave me hope for my youngest when you spoke about how you shoved things under the bed and into the closet when you were a kid, she does the same thing! She has gotten better over the last year or so, but I think that's only because she can't do anything with her friends until her room is acceptably clean. Sound familiar? 😄 Thank you again for sharing, I really enjoyed this video!

I’m a new follower of about a month, and I’m so glad I found you! I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother in my 50s, and it’s so refreshing to have found someone similar to my stage in life who has a lot of the same values I do. Robin - I just returned from water aerobics and was watching this. I so enjoyed knowing more about you and a lot of my questions were answered. I loved hearing your testimony and how you focus on living a spirit led life. I want a more intimate relationship with the Lord and want to fully submit to Him. I fall short a lot but thats the desire fo my heart. I think we have so much in common on our views and how we do things. Although I am older than you and am in a different stage of life. Loved this Q/A video. First can’t believe people are nasty about how you wear your hair. I’m 74 and letting my blonde hair go gray. I love it and my husband loves it more. Blonde does seem easier to transition. You would not believe how motivated I have gotten watching you clean. Have even gotten good ideas and have changed a few kitchen things that made more room and easier access. In short: you are my motivator. Keep it up.

It is very clear that you are a genuinely beautiful natural woman of faith, love, and inspiration that cares deeply about family, God, and life. I have recently been through quite a few storms in my life which has tested my strength, but as the storms dwindles down, I am wanting to become more organized in my home, finances, etc. so that I can feel more at peace with myself and my life as a whole. I am taking it a day at a time and I believe it was a blessing that I found your channel as you are showing what a blessing you are to your many subscribers through your knowledge and grace. I believe it would be nice if you would consider doing a bible study segment. I also would like to see you do more of your plant based cooking and posting of your recipes. I would also like to see you do a segment on getting your finances in order......budgeting, etc. You have a great channel and looking forward to what you will post next. Thank you for the diet information, God told me to eat whole foods .Ive had such a hard time doing this. The way my body feels I need to change so I can continue to serve God. I'm in my fifties now . I also spend without a plan and need to get to my closet . I just feel i need calm and order more than things. Ty again such a joy when i have time to watch your videos. I've shown my daughter and daughter in law your videos and they loved them . we watched on my DIL huge television.

Thank you for sharing more about your life. It's nice to know you better. As I was listening, I heard lots of things that I wanted to respond to with a "me, too - that's how I think/believe/feel". And some topics that I like learning a different viewpoint on. In the short time since I have found your channel, you have inspired and encouraged me with my faith and my home. This was such a wonderful video, Robin! I always look to you for inspiration and motivation. We're about the same age and I have four children ages 15-23. I lost my beloved husband to cancer two years ago, but he was always so supportive of my role as a homemaker and stay-at-home mom. Now that I'm back at work as a teacher and driving my figure skater daughter to practice every day, it's much harder to find time to do the things around the house that need to get done. Hi Robin, I enjoyed your Q&A video. Your cleaning videos have really helped me. I used to use bathroom cleaners or all purpose cleaners. The scent of these cleaners made me cough. Now with the E-Cloths I have a beautifully clean home and no coughing! I also made your all purpose cleaner and that works great for me too. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, I just have to make one correction. I am not a volunteer; I too am so grateful for those who devote their time and energy to this event. My niece, Harmony has lived with us since she was 2 years old. She is now 26 (UGH). She developed Lenox Gastaut at age 4 (severe form of epilepsy) and is developmentally challenged. She and I experienced the loss of my husband a little over a year ago now and it's been a redesign of our lives. Harmony's dad (my brother) passed away when she was 6 and Troy stepped in and was a father in every way. It's been a tough 14 months, but we're doing fine. I left my career when he passed and realize just how dirty my house is..it's terrible. But I'm so glad I've found your videos. Take care.

I used to live in the Austin area. It's my favorite city so far, with the big Wholefoods and Central Market on Lamar, all the shopping centers, the great outdoors and culture, and last but not least, the nice weather almost year round. I wish I could move there again.

Yes separate Q and A for cleaning. I love all your advise and tips. I have recently implemented cleaning my shower everyday with e-cloth and your daily shower cleaner. Ive never had such a clean shower for so long.
