Thanks for your presentation today. Who knows what teaching will look like after the coronavirus pandemic. Distance and remote learning are challenges because of so many differnt variables in play. It does feel strange not to be in a physical classroom. Take care.

Honestly I struggled with depression 2 years ago! I used to be shy to talk to people. My year 9 teacher she truly helped me not be shy and helped me build social skills way better😄👏🏻. That slowed down it and my teacher she was proud of me improving! I really want to be a primary teacher📚! I like to be around kids and in class when they don’t understand something my teacher allows me to help them and they would learn it from me! I do really well in math and science and my least favorite is English/reading and history. I was wondering do you have ideas of what I need to do as a year 11 student to be a teacher if I may ask ma’am and also do you have tips for me to do very well on my gcse exams? Great Q&A! I cant wait to start training in September. I was wondering though, how do you go about planning individual lessons? Are there specific criterias/Learning Objectives beyond the National Curriculum to help map out each lesson?

Christopher Robson your school May have a scheme they follow which will map out the objectives. On the most basic level you would look at the objective from the national curriculum. Break it down into parts if needed (most of them are not one objective) and then look at where your class currently are. Then how will you get theme where they need to be? Then your sequence of lessons will start to form. :)

Hello, I wouldn’t be able to give a true reflection of the work life balance as I wasn’t a fully qualified teacher when I was teaching secondary. Therefore I didn’t do all the planning ect I just delivered the lessons so very different to being the class teacher. :) I personally chose primary because I didn’t like the focus on negative behaviour that can happen in secondary and I also didn’t like teaching “children” so close to my own age at the time.

I think the work life balance might be a good discussion for a video even if its about your experience now compared to when you 1st started (primary). I'm not very good at maths I have Dyspraxia so secondary seems to be my own path or college. 💖🎓
