If you don't know how to tell trees apart, there are many free apps to identify plants. In them, you just take a picture of the tree and the apps tells you which tree it is. It is very handy, I do it to get non-toxic woods for my bird! Seeing your videos and your DIYs I'm pretty sure you'd do amazing DIY perches and bird playspaces. I would love to see videos about it, as I am trying to make some different perches and tree stands for my birds! Hope I helped :)

Hi! I got a cockatiel a month agoish. I was planning on getting a baby but when I got there it turns out the breeder didn’t have any. So the only other cockatiel there was 3 years old. He took him out for me and let me hold him and it was like love at first sight. At the store place he did step up, he was so nice, and he loved me. So I just decided to get him. I knew that I couldn’t know the life that he had before me but I was ready for the responsibility. So I took him home. His cage was all good and ready. But at my house he would not do step up, wouldn’t eat veggies, and would viciously try to bite me anytime I got near him with my fingers. Now I figured out that it’s not me that’s The problem it’s my hands. So I put a blanket over my hand and asked him to step up. And he did! But I don’t want to have to use the blanket any longer than I have to. He now will let me kiss him on the back wing. But not anywhere near his face. How can I get him used to me and my hands??? Please I’m sorry This was long but I really need help. Btw I’m subbed 😋🦜

I've really been looking for more in-depth information on the best way to divide time and make sure they both get the attention that they need as a bird owner who wants a dog in the future and not many people have made videos about what it's like!

Hey, good job dude! I'm glad that your channel is growing, you really deserve it. I actually got a new turquoise green cheek conure a week ago, he's already imprinted on me and loves his cuddles! I don't have the big cage out right now but I try to have him out a lot and have as many toys in the cage as possible, along with some other knick knacks he can chew on (like half of an egg carton, the top of a paper bag, a cupcake wrapper, stuff like that). I think he's pretty content with it right now, but I still can't wait until I can get the big cage out and spoil him :)

Hello! I just wondered if the advice you provided on having two birds would be the same if you got two of different types of bird but around the same time. I have my eye set on a kakariki and a lovebird. I have dreamed of having both and wondered even with a slight age difference if you could work to bond with both using your advice? Working with seperately gradually… or if having two and not the foundational bond would be an issue. I plan on separate cages but the same room so when we have day trips out etc they have someone to talk to.

I also know they poop about every 15-20 mins or right after they wake up from naps so I either hold them over the trash can or over some toilet paper or a sheet of paper that I have nearby! sometimes I miss a few poops and only notice when its already dried but good thing it doesn't smell! 🥴

There is no such thing as a beginner bird. It’s just what bird bonds with you the most and what one fits your life style. And all birds are gonna be messy, you just have to clean the cage,Etc. But I’d say a smaller bird doesn’t make as big as a mess as a African grey/Macaw.
