I enjoy your content and am looking forward to the “letting go” video.
Hi Laura, I have a suggestion for your GRWM problem... Why not do a vanity overview/ quick show and tell and then do the get-ready in your walk-in like you always do? This way you don't have to deal with all those hurdles? Just tossing out an idea, lol

Hi Laura. I'm from the NE, and moved to AZ 21 years ago. I still find it difficult to "find your tribe" when you have so many family obligations. I would love to hear how you all are finding new friends. That would be a great topic to talk about!

This is a great topic and an ongoing challenge. The short answer is that I don’t really know either. Aside from a few work friends and neighborhood gatherings, we don’t have a big social life here. Will chat more about this in a future video.
Great Q&A my lady. Thanks for sharing how change can be hard but good for us. 🙏🏼❤️😘😘😘Sandy

Thank you. I’ve experienced a lot of change in my life and it’s always made me better so I’ve learned to embrace it.
I’d love to see a video on popular bags you had that just didn’t work and why. You know how you get a bag and think you will just love it but it is just not functional or user friendly. Also, I live in NC and sadly it’s just not as friendly as it used to be. But this Southern girl still waves to everyone regardless!

Great idea and that’s sad to hear but I would wave back! People here just look at me funny. 😂

I am very much like you Laura! We moved from outside of Pittsburg where we grew up to Texas in 2019. We’re empty nesters and moving from the only home you’ve known in your 50’s is very tough. I have to say the people here are way more friendly and helpful here which is a welcome change. I wouldn’t change a thing though, moving was an adventure & it has opened me up to be more adventurous.

Thank you for sharing. Change is hard but with it comes new challenges and opportunities so I wish you all the best in your new home!
Hi Laura! I’m at PBI with my sister heading back to New Jersey. We did make it to the Jones Road store with our 93 year old mom. I picked up a lip and cheek and medium bronzing powder. We did a bit more shopping and I’ll be on a no buy July too. BTW, I’ll be 65 in October and while I still have some menopausal symptoms, things seem to be winding down finally. Enjoy your wellness journey!😄

@@alittlebitlaura Thank you. Unfortunately, our flight has been delayed an hour. Things you can’t control!🤪
Gosh Laura! I think many of us have things in common; thank u for ur honesty. I thrive on change as well; my son and I moved from SC to Florida which was a wonderful experience; then back to a different part of SC; the two of us studied in Santiago, Chile, a semester, 15 or so years ago. I just retired and am “dug “ in my home of 5 years in Greenville, SC. I’ve just began watching your videos and am immensely enjoying them, especially this one! Anita

Thanks for sharing! My husband and I are planning a trip to Greenville later this year. Not sure how I lived so close for so long and never got there, but something is drawing us to visit. Enjoy and best wishes!
Thank you for sharing your open and honest thoughts. I can relate to a lot of them! I am currently finding my way as a recent empty nester and wanting to uproot and move. I love decluttering and would enjoy a video on “letting go.”

I feel like midlife has been quite interesting. Thanks for sharing part of your process, as I grapple with what I want my own retirement to look like I appreciate you sharing your shifting point of view.

Thank you and best wishes. I still don’t know what the future holds, but am learning to appreciate the now.
Very interesting Laura! You and I have very similar ideas about life: moving long distance, settling in, making friends etc. I find the older I get, the more difficult it is to make friends. It's not that I am overly unsociable but I find it harder to 'fit in' as I don't accept a lot of BS that I did when I was younger!

LOL. Same. And I should have mentioned that I’m good with my smaller circle of friends since I’m more mindful of who I choose to spend my time with.
Great video, Laura! I really relate to so much of what you are talking about. So excited to learn more about your mindfulness journey. Have you read The Power of Now? I read it years ago and it had a really big impact on me. After watching your video I realized it's time for a tune-up and I'm going to get it in Audible to listen. Thank you thank you thank you for making this video - really appreciate your vulnerability and am excited to follow along!
