Python Egg Box Setup: A New Look @palumbospythons&boas

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Dave Palumbo demonstrates the new way he sets up his egg box at Palumbo's Pythons & Boas. Find out why he no longer uses perlite or hatch rite and, instead, opts for a medium free set up. This new sponge technique is being employed by many snake breeders across the country for perfect humidity in their incubation boxes.

That's a great idea. I am trying a similar technique this season. I have the same white plastic grid stuff but instead of using sponges I have pebbles about an inch thick and I poured water so it comes up to the same level as the pebbles. This is the first season I've done this and the eggs are in the incubator at the moment and due to hatch in a few weeks. We will see what happens.

Hey Dave I always wanted to know why RLTs and Roswell boas never caught on like the key wet did. They have an awesome super Some of them are even patternless with a side stripe on the tail. Have you ever done research on that and I heard something called a jigsaw when you breed a RLT X Key west ?

I was at Manny Frade's Perfect Predator's facility and he bred a RLT with a Key West and there were two very funky looking babiies. Check out the video I did on them. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nqKLt9KSf8zghrw.html

I used this technique last season with good results. I give all the credit to "46and2Reptiles" because he was the first one I've ever seen that did this.
