Not at all the type of house I would enjoy living in, but at the same time it makes me happy that such a place exists and that someone else *does* love living there! Fascinating home :)

I love how she appreciates the nature around her. She loves her olive trees that she talks to, the mountain that is dominant, the birds that love to come to the lake they created around the house, and the sky which is magnificent during the night. She is fully in peace and harmony with and respectful towards the nature. 😍❤️

With her voice, she should be a story teller! So soothing. I love the olive oil soap from your own olive trees.

As an Architecture Student. We are taught not to choose clients but adapt to various client. Just like Architecture itself, no Design can used twice. Architecture can adapt. And adaptation is sign of intelligence.

@@magatism Olive groves are usually created by man to serve man, so I see no conflict with what this house is doing. Also no, the Nazis actually hated this type of architecture (they preferred classical Greek and Roman, European). You're thinking of the Soviets. Imo this was out of place for them too, as they tended to focus on BIG imposing modernist architecture, not small, unique, fit into nature architecture.

I must have watched this video 20 times now but still I want to watch it again. This house is absolutely stunning, and the location incredible! I'm so jealous. Absolutely beautiful, everything.

Wouldn't be impressed if I had only seen a few pictures, but the storytelling and the poetry of the owner and architect really carry over their experience. The waterways and roof also make it so different from what it seems at first glance. Well done!

Yes, the detailed thinking behind the design concepts by the architect and the joy of their execution by the owner made this a particularly enjoyable watch. I'm not sure whether I would want to live in it as a "fantasy" home, but I would love to visit for a holiday!

Green Giant There is no such thing as stable plain wood. Plain wood is expanding with humidity. The lady is of that kind of greek women making no concessions what so ever. She wanted plain wood doors despite the fact that it's not the way people do doors. The rest of the house is radical also.

What a lovely lady, the way she talks about the olives trees and Nature and simplicity. Amazing. And for the architect, congats. Timeless pice of art. Thank you Kirsten again.

Looks like a cozy post apocalyptic outpost. I like the "direct view of the mountain" the best. Woman has a wonderful speaking voice!

And the swimming pool and I do not think the curtains are necessary for this architecture, other than the feeling of movement when they might like this as a balance with the stillness of the isolated area. I would definitely have open a nice view in the guest room, as you only have the mini garden there, no view of the open landscape there. Yes, the gym is a good idea too, with a sauna and a jacuzzi. Other than that the architecture is intentionally created to contemporary vision, I love it.

This family has a deep understanding and reverence for the Earth. Their house is simply a connection to live with the only home we know harmoniously. This video, alongside the Mexican ancient water harvest home, is my favorite - so practical, so mindful, so comforting to witness people living minimally. Thank you and your family for sharing wonderful minds and hearts.

They were so philosophical in how they designed it. Everything was very intentional. This is not just a house. It's pure artistry

Christos Frank Lloyd Wright did amazing designs with concrete. Especially his West coast designs. This home is built using many of FLW’s rules of design and nature. It is outstanding!

It's the olive trees surrounding the house that make it even more fascinating for us Greeks, because most of the Greek countryside is full of them. What about concrete is an environmental catastrophe? It is just a few materials obtained from rocks and mixed together. Are you talking about the quarries required to obtain the materials? I mean yea, it is as much of an environmental catastrophe as if you cut rocks to build homes if that is what you are talking about. You gotta get the materials from somewhere after all, and it sure beats cutting trees to build the home...

This is a master piece and the water flowing is great

As a Greek, I am more than impressed with the thought process, the creativity, the concept and the execution. Concrete matches the landscape perfectly and it is like camouflage. It is magnificent and we need more and more inspiration from stories like this! Congratulations to the architects, the builders and thank you for an inspiring video!

This woman is absolutely delightful. And this home is probably my favorite out of all the homes Kristen has featured on her channel.

Yes. This is what I love. Not to knock anyone who loves the quirky, tiny house stuff, but THIS is living. Imagine wide open beautiful surroundings with a view of majestic mountain. It makes that tiny, quirky, cramped space life seem a bit claustrophobic.

It's the house of the bad guy in any film literally. As modernist homes usually are.

It's a unique dream house. The lady really invites us to enjoy It all.

What a nice couple. She reminds me of really sweet and powerful ladies I've done landscaping for in the past. The ones that invite you in for lunch & chat about lovely things. Tell you their stories. I miss that kind of work.

I love the lady of the house. If everyone think and live like her our earth would be a much better & happier place. She respects nature and the animals. What an amazing person she is.

The architect of this house is a very wise man. This house is another dimension in the future but also in the past. It is Unique. Few people understand this.

Love, love, love this home and land. I spent time in mainland Greece in 90 and 91 and it remains a part of my heart. The owners are typically warm Greeks.

Amazing & beautiful!! The lady has the most wonderful voice and accent for telling bedtime stories! I could listen to her speak for hours!!

When you're about to face the final boss, this woman is the last person you talk to. She tells you how to vanquish the enemy.

Here is a master architect. Every detail is part of the plan, fits together, complements the other, fills a purpose. The house is a symbiosis of the couple’s desires (and obviously generous budget), the land, the elements. The stream of water, the pool- was the climax of the design. Architects of lesser mettle, take note and learn from this master!

I love the lighting atmosphere and the bathrooms.

Wow Truly respecting nature. No need for further decoration other than changing lights and seasons. The colours come from the beautiful views. I would not need more .Fire, comfy sofa ,place to sit,eat,sleep. Protection. Love love love this.

I am really fascinated by the kitchen tabletop which goes over into a kitchen table and oven - that's something I want to have in my own future house

It's amazing that these show homes with huge expansive door openings never seem to have issues with flies or mosquitoes...magical...

The Lady has such a beautiful voice and she makes the words glide on the air when she is speaking....so soothing lovely! The house would not be my way to use the views, but if they love it, it is what is important!

Definitely your best video presentation... the lighting was magical as it complemented the Golden Ratio geometry... KUDOS to you, the architect, the family and father whos many visions clearly reflects his love of life and nature... a residence that will live with the olive trees for many centuries...

Absolutely beautiful home. You've shown so many beautiful homes, but this one really moved me. The creation of smaller, more intimate rooms by the curtains was a real feast for the eyes. Oh, and the well and little pool around the Olive tree was simply brilliant. Thank you for sharing this with us.

OMG! Just found this video. I love the home this architect has realized and melded with the landscape. The house seems so soothing.
