Happy holidays! For those wondering about the Sonic SFM project, It's unlikely that I will be continuing it. It was a little funny idea to give me a taste of 3D stuff, and to practice animating facial expressions and lip sync. I plan to use Blender with my own models for any future 3D content.

Vectors are drawn (can be done over a sketch image to make easier), then you can move them freely over a timeline. Adding bones (like magnetic joints) lets you move larger areas. I use a mix of mostly puppetery and some object/picture switching.

You can animate a lot with just 2 or 3 drawings of a character (usually front, side and back views)

No probs :) Forgot to mention that I don't plan to do tutorials, as the methods I use to animate take too long for professional work. I have the editor settings and program script changed a lot from the standard Anime Studio to make it easier to build puppet fights and certain effects. But it is harder to do things other than that (which you need for a professional CV). It would also take way too long for me to explain certain things. Animation companies don't like to take risks when choosing who to hire, so you would be better off looking at official tutorials or ones made by other users, then you can make animations through more versatile methods (hotkeys, layout etc.). I'm pretty sure you'll get the same results with practice.

@@trolltroll4368 idk, cuz it looks weird, it looks like he uses a technique which is making a drawing become a "ragdoll" and thats what maybe is holding him back, usually when u remake the same face over and over again or the same body, to animate the movement frame by frame u eont have this prob cuz u dont rely on a "doll" like pivot programm does.
