Pyramid Valley International || World's biggest Meditation Pyramid || One of 7 Wonders of Bangalore

It is true, that meditation can be done at all places and at all times. However, if we do meditation while sitting in a Pyramid is called as Pyramid Meditation, by which, we will receive more universal energy, i.e. cosmic energy. The Pyramid is like a magnifying lens.
Sun rays are everywhere, but if these sun-rays are focused at a point by using a magnifying lens, even a paper kept at this point will burn. If the sun-rays are not focused, the paper remains intact. Similarly, cosmic energy is everywhere. The instrument to focus this cosmic energy is the Pyramid.
The word “ Pyramid ”, can be split in two parts - these are ' pyra ' and ' mid '.
' Pyra ' means fire and ' Mid ' indicates a position in the middle .When energy is focused, it gets stronger and its strength doubles or triples. If the strength is increased further, then fire emerges. So, to get the maximum energy from the pyramid, we have to sit in the middle of this fire i.e. pyra + mid
Pyramid Valley International, a serene valley surrounded by greenery and small hills, is the perfect place for going deep within oneself. The 28-acre campus hosts the world’s largest pyramid structure built solely for meditation. Towering to the height of 100 feet/ 30 meters - the height of a 10-storey building - the Mega-Pyramid is a silent abode of sacred energies that allows meditators to experience calmness pretty rapidly. The entire campus is dotted with high-energy spots for meditation and silent retreat
If you are looking for an evening to spend in meditation or just playing around gardens with a light snack with your kids and friends, that too without burning your pocket, then I would strongly recommend you visit the Pyramid Valley International.
We had a chance to visit the Pyramid Valley International today after much prodding ourself to get out of our house. This was one place on our list that still didnt got time to visit and finally today we got a chance to. This place is about 35km from Silk Board junction (Madiwala) via Jayanagar. If you have more time to spare and would like to check out the drive via Nice Road then it adds up another 10km and takes a good one hour to cover. we did this drive on Sunday afternoon but any other day can have a lot more peak hour traffic and you need to take precautions for driving appropriately
We reached the place in about an hour or so roughly. The place is about 2km off the kanakapura road itself and the road is in not so good condition to reach through the village as these are quite narrow , so I advice to drive carefully . this is a major bottleneck for SUV owners
we walked around 1km from parking to the pyramid. the path leading to pyramid is just so neatly maintained, surrounded by ponds, gardens, playground. after walking 1 km we got a glimpse of huge and beautiful pyramid, this pyramid is called maitreya buddha pyramid and is said to be the world's largest meditation pyramid , there is a big statue of buddha , i just fell in love with this buddha statue.
as soon as we entered inside pyramid, there was pin drop silence .Within the pyramid, at the base there are lots of chairs organized where people can sit and mediate in absolute silence. There is also a king's chamber with height of about three total floors where you can sit at a higher level and meditate. Further the king's chamber meditation means that you need to spend a good thirty minutes mandatorily within there.
This premise also has a cafeteria that serves some real decent food dishes at cheap rates. You will get coffee tea at ten bucks, idli, chapati at 30 bucks and so on. Pretty neat. There are two to three toilet facilities and the one near the cafeteria is neat and clean
There are also a couple of parks around the complex and these are good for children to enjoy around. Also there are couple of water bodies with statues in them and it lends to the overall ambiance of the place.
The organization also provides a lot of programs at different times of the year which you can access on their website for more information.
The place also offers luxury cottages and non a/c rooms as well as dormitories if you plan to stay for a day or two.
